I have the same questions. I'm in Wisconsin so experimenting in my own. So far. Delta 8 doesn't touch the pain and just gets me high (which freaked me out and I don't care for it). Tried sublingual CBD drops and nothing.

I tried Delta 8 too and it did the same thing- it got me high but no pain relief.
I use CBD/THC- a 1-1 oil and it doesn't make me high and I take 1ml.

My heart goes out to you..pain sucks! I am dealing with 3 thoracic compression fractures that gets my pain tolerance really tested most days. I use infrared therapy...a belt for around my back and hips..and I also use a heated wrap from the microwave. These at least calms the pain down so I don't have to take pain meds. I've been a 'toker'...(enjoyably so) for the last 50 years...not a lot..just enough to get me 'comfortable' with what my day would bring. I always use flower and high in THC....without CBD...
Then the CBD craze came along..and along with expensive CBD products of all kinds for all kinds of "what ails,ya"...so I never really got into it. BUT....I've been educating myself regarding the healing and pain benefits from that part of the plant....and I now have more knowledge as to how the CBD part of this 'flower' is ever so helpful in so many ways. I live in a state that has a dispensary on every corner..just about!....so there's always a wide array of 'the kind' as well as all the other forms of the plant. I bought a few of the CBD products in the past, but never felt anything from them at all....That's until now. I'll admit to being drawn into an infomercial by the title...I watched it and ordered their product. I'm not a wealthy person...this wasn't inexpensive..but the story behind the product, how it was conceived as a last resort to treat the daughter of the president of this company..and to see her now is quite an eye opener. I got the product....(from Vermont) opened it at the Post Office and took 1/2 dropper under my tongue. I was in a lot of pain at that moment..having been out shopping and walking. In about a minute...really!...I could feel the pain 'melting' away! That was 3 days ago!!..I haven't thought about taking any more..I'm typing this without the wrenching mid back pains I would normally be in and I feel no need yet to take another dose! To say I'm blown away wouldn't even touch how I feel! I've been staying at a 1 on the 1-10 pain scale..as opposed to where I was..6-8, most of the time. The product comes from a 600 acre organic hemp farm in Vermont...the video is impressive. They cold-press the plant which might be the difference in how our bodies assimilate the drops/gummies...as opposed to other ways that are used. The two bottle deal came with 10 gummies..I haven't tried them yet...
Full disclosure....After sitting writing this, I was starting to get my familier back pains. I got up and took the 1/2 dropper of the 1,000mg. Full Spectrum CBD..sat back down at my desk and as I'm writing this..I have no more back pain!!! WOW!....I'm impressed....now I can think of things I'd like to do today..instead of looking to get out of pain!...I think I gave you all interested enough clues so you can find this company without me naming it. Good Luck!

There are a number of organic hemp farms in Vermont. Any additional clues without naming. I.e. town?

Good Morning~
Hope this finds you looking forward to your day,
I don't think it's a big deal to say the company..other companies have been mentioned. It's MONTKUSH....I got the BOGO of the 1,000mg full spectrum..came with gummies. I've only had to 'need' it twice this whole week! Let us all know how it works for you if you get it!
Best to you!! Bunky

Hi Folks,

Medical marijuana has been a God-send, because I can't take a lot of the traditional medications. I had mild MS (which has been in remission for years), Fibromyalgia most of my life, Arthritis, Raynaud's Idiopathic Small Fiber Neuropathy, migraine disease and more. I take as many natural products as possible. I have my medical marijuana card, and have found significant relief in my pain levels! I mostly use cbd, "healing without the high". (Our bodies have naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors too). I do use 1/1 ratio, ir 2/1 ratio products with TCH, but not enough to impair me. I take 10 mg of CBD in the morning in liquid form or capsule, sometimes as a gummy. Hours later, I might have 10 mg more of CBD, or one draw on a vape pen, in 2/1 ratio. 8:30 PM, I have 10 mg of CBD. At bed time, I use a CBN gel pen which absorbs through the skin (I put on my wrists). That doesn't cause me to get high, but for some reason, it really helps with the neuropathy. Medical marijuana is my only medicine, I'm not on any prescription medicines because this is all I need. My doctors are aware I use MMJ too. In my state, marijuana is legal; and soon, stores will be able to sell it. This is my medication regimen, and I will stick to my medical dispensary! I don't recreate, I medicate. I hope this helps you folks.

Having CRPS, I vape during flare-ups and smoke flower occasionally. It works better than pain killers. I know it's frowned upon, the smoking and vaping part, but they work differently between each other and more than edibles. I find CBD is a good supplement but it does not work the same. I find it easier to access than pain killers at the doctor.

It's always a problem asking for stronger lower-dosed painkillers and yet CRPS is some of the highest human pain you can have. In 2006, they had me on OxyContin 40mg working may way to 60mg and eventually onto 80mg. I had problems at 40mg and was ramping up when I stopped on a dime and went through the harsh withdrawals. I wish doctors could understand people who seek a better grade, aren't drug seekers. Oxycodone 2.5mg seems fair. But, here I am talking about marijuana for pain relief.

The options for vaping and flower is purchased with quite a bit of research. I use the higher grade 28-32% THC content for flower with effects that relax, calm, and reduce the pain and burning. Being Indica it has an added bonus, I sleep through the whole night. Without it, I can sleep well. The vape pen is 77% THC. I only recommend this if you are experienced, it is heavy but three puffs and my 7/10 flare-up pain goes down to 5/10 pain. The next day symptoms are reduced. I keep THC in my system often. I go to bed when I use the vape and flower. Lay still, get comfortable, wrap up warm in blankets, and relax, sometimes even fall asleep. This is my take only, but if you are suffering in bed and have to use painkillers to have the same quality of life, what's the difference? I use it privately only.

CRPS robbed me of friendships years ago and my quality of life, even though functional (i.e. working, grocery shopping, and family routines), my quality of life is declining. I quit drinking recently for the second time even though alcohol kills the pain, specifically single malt scotch. Can't do it anymore, feel too guilty and after 20 years of self-medicating I'm over it. Rambling, sorry.

Do your research and don't let others tell you they know best. Use the internet for keyword searches. Be willing to accept some level of pain. Living with this hell has taught me that there truly is no cure for normal before the accident life. In my experience, all the pharmaceuticals make things worse and now countering side effects. Been there, done that.

Oilfield worker, car dealership warehouse, detailer, driving dump tracks, aerospace machinist at Boeing for 9 years, and now a government career. These flare-ups force me to use intermittent FMLA nearly on a weekly basis when the storms roll in. Depending on the season varies but generally life sucks. Taking the regiments of pills that happened from 2001-2007 will never happen again, I won't allow it. I don't fault them for it (one of the top 3 hospitals), just happy I stopped when I did.

I liked the way you communicated the efficacy of THC. I use it also. I keep a little in my system most of the day. Pain would be about 7/8 but with some THC it is around 4/5. I am on 1200mgs Gabapentin and do not want to increase it. I use Indica and Melatonin at night and one Benadryl. I sleep about 4 hours a shift...getting about 8 hours. THC helps many pain sufferers but it is not for everyone. Research is the best way to learn, and then purchase some and go slow. Maybe it will work as it has for many.

I am encouraged that there is hope from Chuck 406 post, as difficult as life sounds for him. CRPS sounds awful.

Does anyone know about what cannabis/hemp product might be effective for pain relief from multiple spinal compression fractures?
