I am experiencing profuse sweating off during the day and nightly. Is this common post Covid?

I have that too. I got Covid Jan 27 2022. I had bad sweating issues for mths. Now I get very hot/sweaty off and on. When ever I do physical stuff and in the evening.
Sucks!!
I had COVID first on mid Jul 2022. I did not have much symptoms only fever, coughing and night sweat. I recovered within a week. Now suddenly on Oct 1 till today, I had night sweat about not much still waking.me up each night. What wrong ?
What should I do?
I had night sweat every day from Oct 1 till today. I was very concerned on this. Even though it is not much but woke me up every night.
Did you treat the sweating or did it randomly stop? I’ve been experiencing this for a year now. It’s nearly debilitating and extremely uncomfortable/ painful in colder weather.
It lasted about 1.5 years and after 2.5 years, I still have it occasionally but it’s more feeling hot rather than actual sweating. I feel for you. I didn’t ask for treatment because I didn’t think there really was one. I was more concerned about being able to breathe. I opened my windows a lot, used fans and light clothes. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this 🙁
Thanks for the quick response. Yeah I had extensive testing performed and various meds prior to visiting the clinic, none worked - just caused side effects without any benefit. Really tough to navigate these days when the majority of the world has moved on from preventative and precautionary efforts. Docs hope it will subside over time, but I’m having difficulty seeing that.
Hi— I’ve had Covid twice (early 2020 & January 2022) & am also immuno- compromised. M Specialists consider me a Long Covid patient. Among the many horrible things I’ve been experiencing is severe sweating & temp dysregulation. This has been going on since end of June 2021. It started out as temp dysregulation— burning up, cold, burning up, cold pattern (with no warning—just within seconds). The very worst was/is the night sweats. I feel like my body is on fire, literally head to toe. It got so bad that my husband would have to wake me up & get me in a room-temp shower. We changed the sheets/pillow cases every other day. This went on every single night for 10-11 months. (My female hormones were & are in normal range)
The temp issue during waking hours started mostly suddenly feeling like I’m over-heating, and I literally have to stop what I’m doing & tear my clothes off. Symptoms started subsiding in late Spring, but it still hits me sometimes—day & especially night. My Neurologist has suggested this is caused by Long-Covid whacked out neurological & endocrine systems.
Wow I’ve had very similar experiences. Have things worsened with reinfection and have docs recommended any form of treatment? I’ve been prescribed a multitude of meds that really haven’t provided positive results, mainly side effects.
I've had the same problem. It went away but now it's back. So weird
