Stimwave user here: What's been your experience?
Like most of us, I did not want a battery implant so I went with Stimwave scs. Its been permanently placed on my spine about 10 days ago. I do feel a little less pain, but my right foot nerve pain still prevents me from sleeping normal hours, preparing home meals and doing normal tasks. I am disappointed. I was hoping for more relief. My worst pain bursts went from 10 to 9. Plus, I still need pain pills.

That was me who said my Nevro is now working good (maybe more than one of us with Nevro). And, of course, my Nevro SCS is NOT doing the job by it's self, I'm also taking 600mg of Pregabalin/day. Lawrence.
When you say you have nerve pain in your toes, is it from a stump neuroma?
Hi,depueman, did you try the stimwave? If so, did you get 50% relief from the trial?
Hi sprinrosa, can you share with us where your pain is located?
my pain is just below my knee on left leg. I would honestly say the TKR , joint of knee is fine . The main pain is at the very top of tibia , and runs down about 6-8 inches. For my if I am seated I am fine, stand and try to walk is terrible, even the movement of riding a big is terrible but I push through, otherwise I wouldn;t be moving

If you are asking me, Lawrence, the answer is no. That's where my neuropathic pain shows up.
Has anyone tried a " Tens unit" for pain management? It stops the pain message from going to your brain. It costs under $100 on Amazon. It has been used for years in Physical Therapy and pain management.

Please let us know if you recommend the Stim Wave to reduce pain. Thanks
Hello @mecha, Welcome to Connect, Your symptoms sound very similar to mine. I don't have total insensitivity but I do have numbness that started in the toes more than 20 years ago. I shared my story and what helps me in another discussion here - Member Neuropathy Journey Stories: What's Yours?: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/member-neuoropathy-journey-stories-whats-yours/.
