Has anyone tried a " Tens unit" for pain management? It stops the pain message from going to your brain. It costs under $100 on Amazon. It has been used for years in Physical Therapy and pain management.

Yes, I used a TENS unit a few years ago. I got it through Medicare and/or BCBS, my secondary, at no cost. It helped a small amount. But when you are desperate you will put up with a lot of downsides. The downsides are in getting it put on and weak relief. Ultimately, I quit and just relied on medicines. But recently I did the spinal cord stimulator trial which really helped a lot. I am currently awaiting permanent placement and I’m really excited about it! Gayle
