Headaches after bariatric sleeve

I have not had that problem, but I wonder if has to do with diet. Are you drinking enough water? Eating enough protein?

If you think that might be a problem, maybe an appointment with a dietitian to see if your change in diet / calorie intake might cause headaches.

There is always a chance that it is not related to sleeve and just consequence it started about same time. Have you had your eyes checked lately.

Im a year out of surgury!! Got daily headaces after bout 3weeks!! Anyone else have this??

Could b,but been followin their program as close as i can!! I’ve had an mri 2 ct scans 3 diffrent eye exams!! All r good!! I was thinkin like u!! Hurts behind my left ey and just above!! They tried treatin me with diffrent nerve meds,steroids and musal relaxers!! Nothin helps!! It starts when i get up n the mornin and gets worse as the day goes on!!everyday no relief!!

James, I agree with @roch that the pain may not be related to the surgery. I'm glad that you and your team have been able to rule out possible serious issues with MRIs, CTs and eye exams. Have you considered seeing a pain specialist? Massage or PT?

I'm curious if the headache is constant or right after you eat? Is it a burning pain? Do you also get pain or tingling in hands or arms? Thanks.

I have this same issue! Had surgery in 2021 almost 2 yrs now with daily headaches, had testing all normal, my headaches started 1 month after my bariatric surgery, the way you describe your headache the same with me, I would love to know your update? i been to several neurologist and headache specialist no success, its very frustrating.
