3 ReactionsWelcome @karina1954, Sorry to hear you joined our neuropathy club but I'm glad you found us so that you know you are not alone. I think each of us have had similar thoughts when the symptoms started showing up. It's good to hear you have a doctors appointment at the end of the month. Since you mentioned you have type 1 diabetes, you might want to read through the following discussion to learn what other members have shared.
-- Has anyone tried treatment for diabetic neuropathy ?: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/has-anyone-tried-treatment-for-diabetic-neuropathy/
Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy or do you just have the symptoms?

1 ReactionYes. It’s very painful.
Has anyone tried Nortriptyline?
Hello @pamelaz, Welcome to Connect. I have no experience with Nortriptyline but @melody12 @patriciao @artscaping @sharonbrenna and @rwinney have posted about it in other discussions and may have some experience to share with you.
Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy? Do you mind sharing a little more about your diagnosis and symptoms?

1 ReactionAre you confusing gabapentin with pre-Pregabalin (Lyrica). 2 different meds. Both have been used for nerve pain.
Hi John,
