Anyone have multiple sclerosis AND breast cancer?

Curios what MS meds they put you on after cancer dx. Yes

I’ve had relapsing remitting since 1999 and dx with BC last April

Hi @beltonite410 Having multiple conditions can sure throw you for a loop, can't it? I work everyday with a blood cancer called multiple myeloma [which I am doing chemo for] and unrelated failing kidneys [soon to start dialysis].

The big thing I will tell you, is to be sure your medical team, which includes the doctors for each diagnosis, are closely communicating with each other. Sometimes they may be in the same medical group and have access to the records from each other. Sometimes not [this is my case]. Make sure you refer to each one when you see the other, and ask how your treatment will affect the other condition. It's important for you to thoroughly understand it all as it plays together, and you can advocate for yourself! Remember, you are part of this team, too! Don't hesitate to reach out to the social worker at the cancer group, and get their thoughts on how best to proceed.

Although it may not seem to be related to your situation, you might find some coping skills you can apply from a discussion in the Chronic Pain group" https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/multiple-chronic-issues-help/

And, I am only a keyboard away for support, and help you find answers!
