I know it's probably even harder to deal with the edema when you've had a large weight gain. I finally was able to get my weight under control this past year and half using intermittent fasting and a low carb healthy fat diet. I went to the head dietician of our health fund. I wrote down everything that went into my mouth for the whole week before my appointment. She said you’re doing great, only 1950 calories a day so you can eat 300 more. I pointed to my body and asked what is all of this so she answered that it is not from good rather a medical condition. It seems dieting will not help
