Need help - HR 115 BP 60/40 feel like death is upon me.
Since early January, I've had drops in BP 60/40. Constantly dizzy. Doctor brushes off as dehydration. I am not dehydrated. Also pain in abdomen which ultrasound done and normal. Please help, BP makes me feel like I might lose my life.

@rickfox2676 I. can only plead with the others that you invest in a flight (if indeed they are so far) to a top medical center, preferably the Cleveland Clinic or one of Mayo's branches. They will take you very seriously and do a thorough work-up. You just must advocate for yourself. Perhaps one of your daughters (or grandchildren if old enough) could go with you and help since you must have trouble walking. It's unthinkable that no one has checked your infection site and whether it has healed or in spreading. I believe Mayo (most large centers) have discounted housing for patients - ask social services. I know transportation and accommodations can be the most expensive part of journeys to health such as you must take.
Thank you for sharing. I hope you find results and eventually get your health corrected. I hate that you are going through similar issues without resolve. It is very frustrating, you are not alone. God bless.
I would need a pound of salt to correct my issue. No problems with heart racing as it stays around 115 to 120.
HIDA scan performed and was normal. I can go 2 days without eating and BP issues do not fade. Don't believe food is the culprit. I was told now they believe possible: Adrenal insufficiency, Addison's Disease or Low levels of cortisol.
After CONNECT reminded me of this old post, I read your story again.
Has your low BP finally been diagnosed and treated? Sure hope so.
Hi Rick, I've had BPs of 60/40 and it's scary. I have passed out frequently. I also have a spinal cord injury and had loss of consciousness from hypertension, caused by autonomic dysreflexia.
I have looked into why my bloodpressure is fluctuating and just saw a great cardiologist who will put a 48 hour BP device on me. Most likely you may have vasovagal sleep syncope, (neuropathic) orthostatic hypotension, or dysautonomia. Did you find the cause?
