Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

Yes, I still have the tremors, and feelings of internal vibrations. It kinda feels as if my arms and legs have pins and needles in them, without the pain, as if they were falling asleep almost. I have had a long histiry of some essential tremors, but nothing like this, and this all happened several weeks post vaccine. My neurologist doesnt know what is wrong and wanted to treat my tremors with a low dose phenobarbital to seeif it helps, but I dont like the possible side effects. I want to know what is causing my issue. Could it have been my covid vaccine, that worsened my tremors? They were nothing like this before.

Do you have tremors at rest or only when your muscles are activated? So sorry to hear you've had a hard time. Lots of research finally taking place to try and figure things out so hopefully sooner than later.

Are you still having these "tremors?" I'm trying to get a cohort of patients who have had this develop to then connect with and compare notes. I'm a physician and have had issues with this.

My internal vibrations began in 2011. I am vaccinated and boosted and understand the urgency for a diagnosis. However, Covid association maybe going down a rabbit hole.

I have been reading all the talk on the internal tremors, which I have also experienced. I haven't been vaccinated for Covid, but will not get into why, it is a very lengthy discussion on its own. I have a few things to add to this that I have discovered in my last week's research. Symptom describing can make a HUGE difference in the area the doctor looks first. For example, I thought saying that "I felt a electrical sensation running up and down my spine" was the right way to describe one on my symptoms. I found that to be inadequate when using that terminology in a Google search and a Mayo search. What I found out I needed to say was "a vibration" the two ways of saying just one symptom made a major difference in what I was given to look up. Okay I'll get to my point. I have appointment with Doctor at Post Covid clinic on March 19th, 2022. Three months waiting for this appointment. The symptoms I started noticing after CV19, some of which I still have, some have stopped, new ones have begun to become a daily routine. I have been a fighter over every obstacle I have been thrown for years, but this time it's been different. This struggle has left me damaged in a way I didn't know was possible. I got to the point of questioning my own sanity. I ended up having to start seeing a therapist after years of not needing one. The pain and lack of sleep have placed an enormous burden on my mental health and overwhelmed my body, to the point of putting me on my back in bed. If not for friends and family I would not be here today. I have several autoimmune diseases, but I have learned so much in one week regarding one of them I have become overwhelmed. I typed this into a search engine just days ago "difficulty breathing while standing" okay I have what's called "Sjogrens Syndrome" my neurologist never made it seem all that big of a deal compared to my other diseases, so I didn't give it much research. The search on breathing brought me to a point on the Sjogrens International site with a warning to those who have it to study information that most doctors don't know about to tell us. I'm trying to make this shorter, doing my best. The Vagus Nerve is mentioned during the information, which is what grabbed my attention to this site as well as Sjogrens. Only specialized doctors even know what tests to run, so if you don't start with a doctor specializing with Dysautonomia, which Vagus Nerve also is attributed to, you may just be lost before you begin. Mayo Clinic has doctors that specialize in "Dysautonomia" of which there are 15 different types. This all has to do with the Nervous System and is quite overwhelming as there Soo much that can be wrong here. I'm just trying to give information to everyone with these out of the normal symptoms as much help as I have been able to find. If you want you can connect with me here and I will also try to put updates on what I find. I am on several groups of Mayo Connect. God bless!!

I have also been suffering from nighttime internal tremors, vibrations, electrical sensations for over 7 years now, without relief. I am emotionally and physically exhausted. Curiously I have no daytime pain.
I have hasimoto , hypothyroid ,
Bradycardia, IBCD.
In 2019 I was diagnosed with Mycobacterium Adium Complex.
My gut feeling is these conditions are somehow related to the vibrations.
My doctor has ordered MRI,s
PT ( which make it worse) .
Gabapentine, antidepressants . Nothing works.
To sleep I use cannibals gummies, or tramadol as last resort.
I cannot recall any incident or illness that set this off.
I am being followed for MAC at Mayo Rochester would appreciated any suggestions of who i should see to discuss this at my annual checkup at Mayo.
Thank you

Yes yes yes. My psych nurse said it could be my medication. I have not seen the doctor yet but have a physical coming up. I call them internal tremors or quivers. Mine comes in spurts. I'll get them for a few weeks then go months without them then they come back again. I was worried it was a seizure thing. Because it happens so little I never think to ask my doctor when I see her. I hope you get it figured out.

You are ascending or having a spiritual awakening. Your body's frequency is higher becoming higher self. I'm going through it too I have lots of symptoms just pray for clarity and to make sense of it. Or for spirit guides to help

I also have the internal vibrations pretty much 24/7. Calm mind, but body won’t quit vibrating! The vibrations are coming from my chest area. They make my head shake. I still feel them upon waking up from sleep sometimes. Can feel them in my tailbone if sitting on a hard chair. Feels like a phone buzzing in my pocket when there’s no phone in my pocket! Mine started after a low dose (10 mg) of Fluoxetine for a total of 13 days (not in a row) in January 2021. Persisting as of May 2022.

Hi! I also have the internal vibrations from my trunk area and it radiates to my face. I was told a low B12 level could make them worse. I started B12 shots about 6 weeks ago. I know if I don’t get enough sleep they are worse. Unfortunately these tremors stop me from getting a good night sleep. Drs call it anxiety! They don’t really have an answer for it. I started going to a nutritionist for help & a acupuncturist. Sorry you are going through this. You are not alone.

loveof dogs, in addition to the B12 shots also look into thiamine (vitamin B1). It, like vitamin D, needs magnesium to become bioactive. Do you take a magnesium supplement? The krispin offers a formula for daily magnesium needs and also has a list of causes of magnesium loss. Activated thiamine in turn is needed to activate vitamin B6. The B vitamins work better together. A fat soluble thiamine form called benfotiamine can be used with a B Complex and offers high absorption advantages over water soluble forms. Thiamine can be diminished or destroyed by anti thiamine factors. The stuttersence link contains a comprehensive list. Thiamine is critical for brain, vagus nerve and gut function. You will be rewarded learning about how they use thiamine. Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.

In regards to B vitamins and magnesium, I was on a b complex and taking magnesium when my vibrations started. I was immediately taken off all vitamins and the vibrations persisted. Been living with vibrations for 18 months. Seems worse when I’m cold or exhausted.

I have never posted before but I've had internal vibrations in my legs for over 10 years now. When they first started it felt like a cellphone was vibrating in my left back thigh/ knee area. Eventually it spread to both legs. I have them 24/7. The only thing my blood work has ever revealed is very low vitamin d. First doctor lady I saw (11 years ago) told me to eat those over the counter chocolates that are vit d fortified. I think she thought she was doing me a favor, but I'm not big on chocolate and maybe only ate one tub of it if I even finished the tub. About a year and a half ago I saw a new doctor and totally forgot to tell him about the vibrations as I had other symptoms that were more distressing at that time. Choking sensation in my throat. Blood work again only revealed very low vit d. He put me on prescription vit d, 50,000iu once per week. I took that faithfully for an entire year as prescribed. I've done so much of my own independent research and saw a video on YouTube by Dr. Berg in which he said tremors can some times be caused by low vit B12. I bought MaryRuths vitamin b complex and I have to say I have noticed a ton of improvement. I have also since discovered that if I run for an extended period, say a mile and a half, that my vibrations are significantly diminished. I still have the vibrations but they are so faint that they don't bother me like they used to. B12 and b vitamins in general are supposed to be good for nerves. I believe this is either a nerve issue or an upper cervical issue. Dietary changes, exercise and supplements have all helped me to get where I am at now. Anyway that was long but I think you're on the right path with vitamin b12 as I've personally noticed it's help. Apologies for the long post!
