Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I try but it doesn’t do any good. The shocks in my head is horrible. Everyday all day long. I can’t take it. It drives me nuts.

1 Reaction@andrews65 Ugh, after 2 years I can see how it would drive you nuts, I'm so sorry. How has your neurologist treated your internal vibrations? Do you take nerve medication and has it helped any?

1 ReactionHi did you ever find an answer to your symptoms? I could be B12 deficiency.
@hockeyguy13 Hey there, what's new? I understand the fact that having symptoms is hard, and what it's like to feel stuck in the same day. Heck, I just told my husband the other day that some days I feel like I'm treading water in the deep end.
I don't recall if you mentioned work. I know you mentioned working out, but do you have a job, are you able to work? I allowed myself to be in that stuck space for a while, but ultimately realized that I was the only one who get myself out of the negative cycle. It takes continual work to pull yourself out of the deep end. It's ok to tread water for a little, but you can't stay there forever...too much good life out there to grab. What are you doing that is fun or positive for distraction? What joy have you found lately?
I get this in my chest at night occasionally. It’s kind of a twitching sensation that lasts for a few minutes. It’s not heart palpitations as I know what that feels like. Not painful just scary. I think it is associated with my vestibular system.
I also have the internal tremors. My dr gave me the tincture California Poppy. I’m taking 1/2 teaspoon but it doesn’t seem to help me. How much do you take that seems to help?
Originally my vibrations were due to atrial fibrillation. I had six stents put in and I no longer had the vibrations. BUT I now live in my son's home and he has an outside fresh air inlet that enters in my outside wall of my bedroom. I have a tall vase with a sprig decoration in it and I can actually see it vibrate and I definitely feel the vibrations whether I am sitting, in bed or standing in this room. Just sitting here typing I feel it. Making me nervous and possibly ill from lack of restful sleep.
@coleen88 Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear you are uncomfortable where you live, that's not good. Have you spoke with your son about how you feel? Perhaps he can help come up with a better solution.
I’m so sorry u are feelings this way. I have internal tremors/vibrations too. I now receive B12 shots weekly. I just had my first appt with a acupuncturist yesterday. Last night my vibrations were gone!! I have to go 3x a week. She told me it’s not anxiety, it’s my nerves that are blocked.
I hope this info helps you. Wish u well.
