My stomach makes me look pregnant.
I have been having problems with my stomach for quite a while now.
My stomach is always round and bloated ,as if i am pregnant.
I have pain most days and have severe cramps and vaginal muscle cramps/contractions during my period. I also bleed a lot.
I eat healthy, take multivitamins and drink water and no sodas or fruit drinks just fruits and veggies. I know most people have flatter stomachs even those who don't eat as well as me.
I have done research and have come to some conclusions that could fit. I think i might have a uterine fibroid or cyst, something that is making my stomach big.
I also have ugly stretchmarks even though i have never been pregnant and am not pregnant, but at times it looks like it.
If anyone has anything similar or knows anything,i would really appreciate the feedback.

A number of you have mentioned bloating and a distended abdomen. It would be good to hear how things are going. I'm sure others would benefit from your experiences.
@jakesheart – how is your pain?
@tilmykids – you were talking about perhaps changing your diet to see if if helped. Did you get the chance to try it out?
@allenjane14 – you'd said your belly was getting bigger without any pain at all. Have you discovered what might have been happening?

Could you share a few more details about your friend? Has she consulted with a doctor? When did she notice her symptoms?
So as you can see the first two pictures in my red nightgown are from just 15 minutes ago... Looking pretty pregnant to me! However, my boyfriend and I have been together 8 years, he has a vasectomy, so I’m 99.9% sure I’m not pregnant.. the last picture you see is my stomach just a couple months ago. All of a sudden i feel like I have swallowed a bowling ball, it’s hard uncomfortable and gets cramps( almost like strings are being streamed inside of me, which are very painful). It’s hard to breath, it’s very hard and I full on look 8 months pregnant ! Wish it was pregnancy, but I’m pretty positive I AM NOT. I eat fairly healthy never been obese or severely over weight. I am 28, 5’5 and now weigh 180LBS. I got sick and was barely eating however I gained weight and stomach keeps growing!? 😭 someone help me...

@stacy1989 - wondering if you've had the chance to consult with your doctor about your stomach? If so, what did he or she say about it?
@stacy1989 - thinking of you and wondering how it's going with your stomach?
Hi. I too have a bloated pregnant looking stomach.. let me start by saying I'm 36(in a few days), and I just had a teratoma removed in late november along with my left ovary, bc the teratoma was growing inside of my ovary. It became 4.4 cm, so they did a partial hysterectomy. I no longer have my left ovary. As far as my ultrasounds and CT scans go, they did not show anything else. My obgyn dr/surgeon also said that nothing was malignant. I have gained 40 lbs since September of last year. I've been around 125 to 135 my entire life. I am now 168 lbs!!! I thought maybe the teratoma made me have this abnormal pregnant looking weight gain ,but it is NOT going away. I changed my diet to a low carb high protein diet, and try to exercise daily even if for only 15min. I also have very bad cramps a week before and during my menstrual cycle. The cramps are so severe that I sometimes lay on the bathroom floor in fetal position until I can stand up and walk out of the bathroom! These cramps started while I had the teratoma and have continued to present day. My cycle is also extremely heavy. I do get constipated often and use enemas to relieve the constipation. If my CT scans and Dr say I have no more cysts or tumors, then why do I have this abnormally shaped pregnant looking stomach! ?! I am very uncomfortable, the cramping is unberable and down low. I look about 5 or 6 months pregnant and want it to go back to normal! I am definitely NOT pregnant. Please help! Thoughts anyone?..thank u

Hi @foreverhaefish - I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through! 🙁 this is no good!! I'm reading through what you shared, and I am a little alarmed - you eat salty and sweet foods plus coffee and softdrinks - that's a literal recipe for disaster! Processed foods = poor health & constipation. I only learned all of this health talk in my 20s, wish someone had told me sooner, but it's not a part of our education system. The understanding of gut health is essential, because processed foods are only getting worse - harder for our bodies to break down - so we are hurting and exhausting our bodies, by making it figure out how to break down the poison (unrecognized by the body - has no formula 🙁 Where as our bodies have formulas to break down all the fruits and veggies - which means it is easy for our bodies to process and we are left with energy to play 🙂 You should be trying to eat as many whole foods from the earth, because all of the processed foods (crackers, chips, cookies, candy, etc.) destroy your gut biome (which is what you need to be healthy and happy & to have regular bowel moments and maintain optimal health)! This was a rude awakening for me too, I feel you! To get your self moving again I would suggest Chia Seeds (as they lubricate your intestinal lining, making it smoother for things to move out), coconut water (in case you're dehydrated) and prunes. Eat 2-3 prunes per day with coconut water and chia seeds and you should be good to go 🙂 If that doesn't resolve it within 48 hours that might suggest more intense inner dehydration - and at that point you can grab some Miralax - it pulls liquids into the stool - giving it that one last boost to slide right out!! Good luck on your journey, I wish you the best and hope your discomfort will become a thing of the past shortly 🙂 Other advice that I've give me little sister when she was a teenager: do try and drink 8 glasses of water a day, quit the soda for a month and see if you notice a difference
@stacy1989 - did you ever figure out what was making your stomach bulge out like that? I look the exact same way - and the other night I was out dancing at a show when a women literally gave me a death stare then made a motion of having a pregnant belly and shook her head and finger at me 🙁 It is large and taught - I've never been overweight in my life - until now I'm pushing 180 - when I'm usually 145-155, I'm 33yo not on birth control, just got my 10th negative pregnancy test of the last 6 months - clearly even doctors think it's a pregnancy 🙁 5'9" - I have an ultrasound of my abdomen on Monday - will report back any notable findings then 🙂
Have you had your liver function tested? Could be ascites.
