Want to discuss prolapse bladder or any kind of prolapse
I am looking to discuss prolapse bladder or any kind of prolapse that other ladies have experienced as well. I would also like to comment on incontinence as well. There is a lot to talk about when it comes to prolapse bladder etc and it seems to be a silent epidemic among women. If there are others out there like me, lets talk about it and I have some solutions. I am surviving prolapse bladder without surgery and I have been living with it for over ten years. I wear a support garment that is light and easy weight and fits right under my existing underwear. Don't know what you are doing or wearing, but I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

I haven't done anything yet. Was hoping to see a gyn urologist, but there aren't any here in Ft. Myers. I love Mayo, but it's 6 hours from me. I am willing to travel and do the surgery there. Please let me know how your surgery turns out, and I am wishing you a successful and speeding recovery. Louise Harper
Thank you. I am a little nervous about doing the surgery, but more concerned if I don't do it. I will post here afterward.
I also live in Fort Myers, and decided to have my surgery done at the Mayo. They did the vaginal procedure, and I am now close to 6 weeks post op, but still have a bit of discomfort left. I developed tissue granulation and that was cauterized 4 weeks post op. It still bleeds a bit once in a while, but gets better every day.
Have tried pessary no luck, having surgery Friday April 8th for rectal prolapse n vagina prolapse. First surgery 3 hr if all goes as planned 2nd sugery n recovery room.keep me in your prayers n good luck to you as well.I have 2 different surgeons doing my surgeries.

holding you in prayer for a successful surgery and recovery!!
I never had long success with my prolapse surgeries. I have had 3. I wish they would come up with a way that lasts for people like me.
Thank you for the kind words
Pray all goes well good luck to you as well

Did you have the mesh put in for your own tissues to grow through for support? Back over 10 years ago the material in the mesh caused issues with rejection. I had the "new mesh" used and still after years have no issues. It is holding up fine without any inflamation or rejection.
So sorry you had 3. That is not good.
Did they go thru tummy n dorepair. My surgeon said there are 2 ways to do it one for active people pull rectum n tack on back wall very effective n lasting the best.
I had both done have a super day ellen307
so did you have the abdominal open route? I never had that way but did have the back wall tack. I am watched annually so I don't know if there will be another or not.
