Anyone have any nebulizer recommendations?

Posted by marlin @marlin, Nov 3, 2021

Does anyone have any nebulizer recommendations. Would like something compact and easy to clean. Also any online sites that people recommend to get your supplies such as nebulizer and saline vials from? briefly looking it seems like there are a lot of options and they are fairly inexpensive.

I read on a product review of portable nebulizer that Innispire Go is in the top 3. The top one is called ProNebu. Has anyone tried that one? I prefer to go with personal recommendations but curious about these. https://nebulizertreatment.net/top-7-best-portable-nebulizers/

Has anyone obtained an Innospire Go Mesh Nebulizer recently? Where did you get it? I had one and accidentally put the mouthpiece in the microwave for only 4 seconds but it is not working. (the manual clearly states NOT to do that) The problem is I have searched high and low over the internet and they are all back ordered, and no one can give me a time they become available. So back to my Pari ProNeb Max until I can find the Innospire Go. Bill

Oh, dear, this is the second time I heard this lately. Another friend accidentally damaged hers and cannot get another. I have checked both of my local suppliers in Texas and Minnesota. No availability through them either a guy in MN says the demand for all of his nebs are way up and all supplies are low. Was going to leave my spare behind when I go home - bad idea.

I too have been searching diligently for the Innospire Go. They don't appear to be available anywhere. Very disappointing.

Has anyone contacted the company to find out what is going on? Maybe a new model in the pipeline, or "supply chain" breakdown?

Good suggestion and no I have not checked with the company. However I read several reviews after reading the comment here about ProNebu and ordered one yesterday. I’ll let y’all know how it works after using it.

@sueinmn I did contact the company and the guy I talked to on the phone said they were hoping to get them in a week or two but who knows. And after reading that article, I also ordered the ProNebu while waiting on the Inspire Go. It was a great price. Nan

My Innospire Go has just stopped working and there are none available for now. So, I'm looking at the ProNebu and the Omron NE-U100. Is there any way to disinfect/sterilize either of these? All I can find online is instructions to wash in warm soapy water and air dry. Any advice between these two options?

I signed up on Philips website to be notified when it is back in stock.
Is there another portable nebulizer anyone can recommend. I ordered the ProNeBu and had to send it back as it would not operate with batteries.....only with the adapter. Any other recommendations and when is the best time to use the saline? My pulmonologist prescribed 3% nebulized sodium 2x a day 12 hours apart. I find it hard to do this plus use the Aerobika. I have started coughing more since using the saline.....anyone else have side effects?
Thanks for your help.

I love the Innospire go but it is very sensitive. If it leaks the contacts get wet and it turns off. The fix for this is to clean the top piece by boiling it (removing salt buildup) and plug in the base. Then it works again. However, I found that it continued to leak and have sent mine back. The problem is I absolutely love it! It’s quiet and fast. Perfect.
