What helps post COVID shortness of breath?
Hydrochlaquid: Spelling is iffy at best. I wonder if this drug would provide relief from post COVID shortness of breath?

I am two weeks past covid and also have Lupus. It feels like a "flare" of the autoimmune issues. Shortness of breath and lethargy (!!??) continue. I use an inhaler. There is a 10 day window for monoclonal antibodies, I found out, from the covid tracking person.
i am 9 months out from covid pneumonia- 21 days in hospital. i was on steroids for 5 months. i have been on oxygen for 9 months. i caught covid in june and didnt start seeing any teal improvement until dec. the point is be patient. be sure to check your sugar as steroids really wreck havot. try quercitin with zinc . that helped me. its over the counter
be sure to deep breath and get a nebulizer
i still sleep during the day at least 1 three hour nap. it takes time.
@ivicah, like @jd44204 said, recovery is a slow, slow crawl. Several members like @dvierheller and @marye2 made suggestions like inhalers, watching your sugar levels if on steroids, oxygen.
What has helped your recovery?
Found this on John Hopkins site. I didn't really have a chest cold, per se, but shortness of breath continues 3 weeks after virus. Here's breathing exercises to open chest up. I hope this helps recover. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavirus/coronavirus-recovery-breathing-exercises
I was wondering if anyone else has had shortness of breath, dizziness, body weakness and heart palpitations after having Covid. I had a severe case of It in November 2020 but I’m still occasionally having symptoms. I also go through periods of not wanting to eat because nothing sounds good. I feel crazy but these are the exact problems I had with covid. I doubt if there is anything they can do about it. My husband doesn’t think it’s possible to still be having these issues from Covid but I do. Anyone else have these problems.
