What helps post COVID shortness of breath?

Hydrochlaquid: Spelling is iffy at best. I wonder if this drug would provide relief from post COVID shortness of breath?

I was 8 weeks out and still coughing. Sometimes it was a dry tickle and sometimes mucus. I was Prescribed a Z Pack for 5 days to reduce inflammation. So far the annoying symptoms have been reduced substantially. I’m much more comfortable around others.

Me too. Nose sprays prescribed by doctor are helping. Imatroprium dries up your nose. I also take Flosnase and Azestaline.

Thanks a lot . Am seeing the doctor on friday and ask him to prescribe. I also feel a bit lethargic at times and feel of tiredness. Let's hope these will go away soon

Don't know is this is from the vaccine or Covid. I had Covid in Sept. 2021, which was quite mild. I occasionally have pressure under my left breast and it spreads around to my back. Mostly on the left side of my back but once in a while spreads to the right side. I become short of breath and fatigue sets in. It lasts about an hour. I comes at random times. I have had a physical, blood test & stress test and everything came out fine. I have been told to see an allergist, which I have not done yet. Could it be from inflammation? Does anyone else have these symptoms.

The symptoms you describe of fatigue, chest pressure and shortness of breath have been described by many COVID long haulers. Have you looked into getting an appointment at a Post-COVID Clinic?

No I have not. Do I need a referral from my primary doctor. Do I call Mayo to do this?

@jwilson69002, you can self-refer to Mayo Clinic. You can call or submit the appointment request online. See more information here: http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63

If you're applying to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, you'll want to check this information first.

Meet all the requirements except being employed. I am retired. I am in MN. I am wondering why just employed people have access to this?
