@hmccarth5 and @judithjoy I am so sorry with what both of you are going through, terrible things. HM with your sleep depravation and Judith with your loss of your son. My goodness, I can not imagine.
Please share what is going on in your life so I can connect you with people who have been through similar problems.

Good Heavens! Please disregard my very recent note. I had tried to find a way to "Like" a comment by clicking the 3 dots on the right. THEN I saw the little heart on the left. Sorry to have bothered you.
I find that spending at least one hour daily outside in the fresh air, walking or whatever you enjoy doing OUTSIDE often assures one of a good sleep. Of course, excessively cold days(-25C) here in Canada, make that unappealing and not especially healthy!
Hello all.
CBT-I is the only thing that helped me. I first did not believe what it said and did not follow all instructions diligently but then gave it a serious try..sleep diary and all . It has been 9 months or so now and I get good restful sleep. Try it.
Sweet dreams and restful sleep to all.
After experiencing the cbt-i course, I am sleeping more soundly but continue to wake up about 4 a.m., stay awake often about 60- 90 minutes and sometimes cannot get back to sleep. However, I am sleeping better than I was before I took the course.

I see that some comments have "Likes" but I don't see a way to "Like" someone's post. Can you tell me how to do that? Thank you.

Where did you took the course? I want to do CBT-i but none in my town know about it. Thanks Cila
What is CBT-I? Interested to know, since I have problems with sleeping.
I took it through the Veterans Administration but suspect all credible treatment facilities would offer it.
