Has anyone tried the HF10 Spinal Cord Stimulation Device?

Has anyone tried a device called HF10 ? It’s a device which stimulates your spinal cord to help relieve back and leg pain. After a trial period of about a week, if the patient is achieving good results the device is implanted in the person. My pain management doctor has recommended it to me for arm and hand nerve pain. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this device and especially from anyone who has used it for arm and hand pain. Thank you.

From the middle of my back down into the right butt and leg.
Once in a while, I still have a tiny bit of discomfort in the left buttock.

Interesting and informative comments.
I'm as the stage wherein I'm moving from the facet injections to the ablation.
I've been approved for the spinal cord stimulator.
My spine surgeon has recommended against the stimulator (that's a bummer). He is oping for another surgery - placing a rod with screws between the 3rd and 4th vertebra to relieve the pressure on the L3 nerve.
I have other compromising issues causing me to hesitate regarding another back surgery (I had a bad time after the last one - developed another lung infection IN addition to a incurable lung infection, and my wife was tole that I was going to pass.😒
The pain has ben a part of my life for the last 5 + years.
I am encouraged by the comment that the failing stimulator was able to be removed with no after effects, the antithesis of what my spine surgeon has told me.

I did get some partial pain relief. But, I didn't like the parathesia (sic) It was annoying. Perhaps I should have given it a longer time. I have talked to several people who had problems with their legs or feet and got a significant pain relief using the SCS. made by DRG by Abbott. some people are pushing HF10 by Nevro

are you talking about the Nevro HF10? Where was your pain located that you got so much relief? Thanks

I have the nerve stimulator from Medtronic installed. The pain was in the lower back, left buttock, and left leg.

I had the Nevro HF10 implanted in September, 2020. (The trial was successful a few months prior.) My spine is messed up pretty much from lower cervical to tailbone. The absolute worst area is in the thoracic. No back surgeries because two independent neurosurgeons recommended against it, saying what little they could fix was not going to give me enough relief to be worthwhile. (Fine by me. I really didn't want surgery but was desperate for pain relief.) After a few years of pain meds, PT out the wazoo, etc., I opted for a trial of the HF10. Things went well and my pain meds were reduced by half. The first few months after the permanent implant were really good, then the relief started fading. I have worked diligently with the Nevro reps and we've done 30+ different settings/programs. No lead migration, we've checked that. I'm done. Seeing Pain Doc next week and the discussion will be about removal of the unit.

I've had one for over a year and been unable to find a setting that works consistently or well. The company offers little help, other than suggesting I keep experimenting. Does anyone have suggestions on how to find a setting that works?

I would appreciate your expanding on your stimulator experience. I've had a Medtronic SCS for less than a month and have not had pain relief as yet. (Lower lumbar area)
