Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?

I have been taking the liquid Cilantro twice a day and it has helped immensely (I believe).

You might want to try one of the skin creams by CeraVe called Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream. That one has helped me more than others I have tried.

Glad that it’s working for you. For the past couple of weeks I have been using a new product called Tea Tree Oil Face Cream made by Majestic Pure Cosmeceuticals and it has worked just as well as the Miracle Oil. It’s also less expensive. (You can find it on Amazon.) It contains ceramides and is a really good moisturizer too.

Good evening @locutus, @elderly1, My dermatologist just introduced me to a new anti-itch cream named Dermeleve. We have been working on resolving my itch issues for a couple of years. Good luck to you .....If I could I would make sure that itching never, never attacked me again. It is worse than pain.

There are a number of "tree oil" and Miracle oil products and the do not contain the same ingredients. Can you be specific as to the product maker/name?

I have no personal interest in promoting the CeraVe Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream, but it looks like the ingredients are somewhat similar to the one you and your dermatologist are working with. The CeraVe product costs about six cents per gram if bought on Amazon.com, whereas the Dermeleve product costs almost $1/gram if bought from their website...pretty huge price difference. However, if the itching is driving one crazy, whatever works is worth the expense! Thanks again for the information and best of luck to you.

Good evening @locutus, Thank you so much for your response. I appreciated the feedback. I know about the CeraVe products and have not tried them. The itch problem has taken over a big part of my medical life so I do feel that it is worth the expense for something that gives me relief within a few minutes and lasts for several hours. That gives me time to get my mental issues......also called stress.....to calm down and I do a better job of not scratching my skin.

How often does the "itch" cause problems for you?

I have the itching on a rather unpredictable time table. It is sometimes several times per day, or other times only several times per month. I have basically the same experience with the CeraVe Itch Relief product as you do with yours. About 2 to 5 minutes after I apply it, it starts giving me relief which lasts several hours. It's not foolproof, however, and on some rare occasions not even this product can handle the itch. I also sometimes use a prescription steroid cream, but I try to limit how often I resort to that. Sometimes that doesn't work either. Scratching works EVERY time if I do it hard enough, but then I;m left with a mess on my body for days or weeks. It's a frustrating situation.
CeraVe has several different creams and lotions, so if you ever decide to give this stuff a shot, make sure to get the "Itch Relief" formula. Best of luck!
