Has anyone tried the HF10 Spinal Cord Stimulation Device?
Has anyone tried a device called HF10 ? It’s a device which stimulates your spinal cord to help relieve back and leg pain. After a trial period of about a week, if the patient is achieving good results the device is implanted in the person. My pain management doctor has recommended it to me for arm and hand nerve pain. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this device and especially from anyone who has used it for arm and hand pain. Thank you.

I am a little biased, because I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. It is important to work with the tech as a member of a team. Together we found the right adjustment for me (we did a lot of telephone meeting), and I also learned how to adjust it on my own.
I don't need any pain meds anymore
It is very important that the doc, who installs this device, knows what they are doing. When mine was installed, they woke me up out of the anesthesia, for me to confirm that the electrodes are place in the right locations, before they did the final installation.
That should be reported to your state medical board!
I have one but it made the pain so much worse I just never charge it anymore.
I have one. It is difficult to say how much it helps when you are in so much pain.
My brother is going to do a trial with Abbott’s burst dr neuromodulator. Anyone have comments on this one?
Hi Tracer545, did your brother try the Abbott burst neuromodulator? If so, what part of his body was the problem and did he get relief? Thanks
I am going to have a trial of the Medtronic stimulator because of low back pain radiating to the leg. The process and wait time has been lengthy. How soon after the trial can the implantable stimulator be done?
Two weeks was my implant after the trial.
