I have high pitched tones constantly though I have learned to ignore it mostly.
It can become louder at times, even loud enough to make me wince!

https://hearinghealthfoundation.org/ The current issue of the magazine published by The Hearing Health Foundation, a research organization, focuses on tinnitus and hyperacusis. It's encouraging to know that more research is being done on these two health issues.
Have u seen qualified audiologist? They do have hearing aids w tinnitus relief. I think Bose has some ear phones w similar. It’s a brain thing not ear thing. I’ve had it for 35 years. Plus hearing loss each year. It’s no fun. Biofeedback training can help also.
I probably have a mild case of tinnitus - but, I just drink distilled water, it goes away. Also, I know if I eat salty food I'll get tinnitus.
Fully vaccinated with Moderna…no change
I sympathize with you and know what you are talking about. have the exact same sounds that you have. The men’s chorus, of un identified songs sung by low voices. I also have music that is like a musical phrase of several notes in constant repetition, birdsong, an engine in operation, plane type noise. I have also lost some hearing and can’t understand words spoken on the radio or the tv without my hearing aids connected to a device which is connected to the tv. In short a cornucopia of sound.
Drinking water is healthy. So is staying hydrated. Not sure either have a direct relation to reducing tinnitus. However, salt, or sodium as it is commonly known as on food package labels, is a good idea. Salt is related to a higher blood pressure level which can affect the blood flow to your ears and may aggravate tinnitus.
Yes, 1 month after I received my 2nd shot tinnitus became very loud constant ringing. It use to be very soft, but know very loud. I received Moderna vaccine.
Has anyone had success taking a taurine supplement for there tinnitus? I was taking soy isoflavones and I had great success taking the supplement. But unfortunately I had ER positive breast cancer 12 years ago and I was told by my oncologist that I should stay away from estrogen type supplements. But it helped quite my tinnitus so well that some days I would have no ringing for part of the day. I have stopped taking the soy isoflavones supplement for 7 days and the ringing is back real loud. I have been taking 3000 mg of taurine for a few days and it doesn't seem to help. I will give it time, but would like to know how long it may take before some relief might start. I am heartbroken that I can not take the soy isoflavones because as I understand, it might bring my cancer back. If someone knows different please refer me to the information/study that says I my take the soy isoflavones. To all the other tinnitus sufferers I used the soy isoflavones 750 mg 3 times a day. Them cut back to 2 times a day. I got really good relief from the tinnitus. Then I was maintaining very low ringing sound with 60 mg twice a day.
This is troubling. Is it any better?
I am currently taking 2-3 60mg capsules of soy isoflavones, spread out through the day. This keeps the tinnitus somewhat quite. Higher doses of the soy isoflavones keeps it completely quite for a few hours every day and the tinnitus at a low sound level the rest of the day. But, I had ER positive breast cancer and was told not to take soy products. Since the tinnitus gets really bad at times and I can not concentrate, when not taking the soy, I have chosen to take the least amount of soy I can and hope that the taurine capsules that I am taking will kick in, in about 3 weeks. This will allow me to get off the soy products.
