Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?
I have been diagnosed with Grover's disease under my breasts. I had a biopsy for diagnosis. Tried topical ointment with no really good results. Any ideas?

I’m also curious as I have been taking cilantro supplements for a year and grovers seems to be improving with occasional outbreaks. I strangely just had an eruption on top of foot and leg. Weather is heating up and back at gym that could be contributing.
I and others on the site have tried Cilantro capsules and found that they don't work. No knowledge with respect to the extract. Give it a try and post the results, as if it works, there are a lot of people who would like to know. Good luck. Is your GD the result of the Shingles vaccine ?
Thanks, I'll let people know if the concentrated cilantro drops do anything for me, or not.
No, my Grover's did not come about as a result of the Shingles vaccine. I've never had it. I don't know the cause, but I suspect it might have been the result of living in a very hot desert city and having worked outside in the sun for 24 years. I've had Grover's for probably 20-25 years and it has always been a miserable experience, but it has been confined to just my stomach, chest and back areas as is typical. During the last few weeks it has gone totally berserk and has spread to my arms and legs with my ankles being the worst and they are even getting a few weeping blisters. I have no idea what's going on!
To @locutus ----You should be very careful with the dosage of this product. If you look at the reviews of this detox extract on Amazon.com, especially one dated 2013, I would suggest that you consult with your doctor before using.
So sorry to hear that. It really is an insidious disease.
Thanks. I did look at the reviews on Amazon and many people said that the number of drops recommended on the bottle is way too high and could produce severe reactions. I'm going to start with just one or two drops in my daily nutritional drink which I make in a shaker bottle and see if I can tolerate that and work from there.
Also on Amazon, I found the Sarna lotion many of you have spoken of highly and I ordered a bottle of that.
Does anybody soak in a bathtub with some particular ingredient that you have found provides relief and helps to prevent any infection of your sores? Thanks.
I usually divide one bunch into three piles, chop them up a little bit and put them in snack size bags and throw in the freezer. I make my smoothies with frozen fruit, blueberries, strawberries, whatever I have, Chobani yogurt, a banana, a scoop of collagen peptides, almond mik and one baggie of cilantro. I can barely taste the cilantro, or maybe im just used to it now. So thankful to have found something that helps this very annoying condition! Good luck 😊
@locutus....Hi there, I just noticed your post about bathtub soaks. I suffer from small fiber neuropathy and the best bath soak I have found is Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment. It was recommended by my dermatologist.
Enjoy your bath.
Chris
Very helpful...thanks. Do you use the stalks or just the leaf?
I cut off most of the stalks, usually leave an inch or so, that's just my preference. It sounds like some leave them on.
