Fluctuating hearing intensity

I had partial acute sensory hearing loss in one ear. I was placed on high dose steroids and have noticed my hearing clarity fluctuates day to day. Have not finished the steroids yet. Has anyone else had a similar experience.

I cannot speak to your experience. We will be interested to learn if your hearing improves after you've completed the steroid treatment.

I have SSHL and when I was having the steroid injections I did not experience any change in my hearing. The fact that you’re hearing is fluctuating is actually a good sign. I sincerely hope the injections will work for you! Sadly, they did not for me.
