Bridge of Nose Tender

The bridge of my nose tender for years even wearing sunglasses irritates it. Played sports got hit a few times in the nose causing swelling and bleeding what would be causing it.? Thanks for looking

Hello @keith300, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm wondering if it may be a result of trauma to the nose when you were playing sports. The following article mentions a Septal nose perforation can sometimes cause pain in the bridge of the nose as well as some swelling and bleeding.

It seems like it may be a possibility of nose damage of some sort due to trauma but only a doctor can say for sure and probably after some tests and exam.
