Hi @adam1131, I know this is very scary, but now you have a diagnosis and you can get proper treatment. I have moved this discussion to the MAC & Bronchiectasis group. Click this link https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/mac-bronchiectasis/
In the MAC & Bronchiectasis group you will find many informative discussions and get support from many members who live well with MAC and & bronchiectasis. Your on the right path and will see that several members have been helped by taking antibiotics, like @windwalker @sueinmn @testlady @auntnanny and others.

@gaylesunflower1- Am checking in to see how you are doing. Have you checked with the doctor who treats your back what exercises will help get your back feeling better? I bought a nustep. Did you buy a treadmill?
Hello, MAC is a scary diagnosis at first, but as you will learn here, we all learn how to live with it in time. Feel free to ask all the questions you have. We are not doctors, but we can certainly share our experiences with you.
I'm curious, who made your diagnosis? With bronchiectasis and MAC it is very important to see a pulmonologist and/or infectious disease (ID) doc who are familiar with the complex and long-term treatment needed. Not every doctor is familiar with MAC and the treatment protocols.

Hi Merry - thanks for checking in - bought a walking treadmill - waiting for it to be delivered
@gaylesunflower1- That's great. Have you thought of any other exercises that you might want to try that go along with walking? You can sit and do upper body exercises. Have you ever tried bicep or tricep curls sitting down?
