It’s only been a year or so and look how much you have improved. Congratulations on taking charge of your health the right way.
Seventy percent of our medical problems start in the gut. Eating like this is a way of life and you don’t miss the old way. If only more people paid attention to the fuel that they put into their bodies, we wouldn’t have the healthcare crisis we have today in this country.
I am passionate about diet and I hope you inspire others by speaking about your journey. You may not be able to reverse some damage but you can stop it from progressing. It feels great to feel good, doesn’t it?
If we stop eating all the junk that supermarkets stock their shelves with, maybe the food industry will wake up once their revenues decrease. We don’t need an entire aisle of sugar coated cereal no matter if you call it gluten free, low cholesterol , high energy or any other tricky phrases. That’s another whole but highly related issue.
We’re proud of you.

Hi,
We must be twins lol. I have 3 gym classes a week, exercise daily. Our instructor is an active 79 year old who will be starting a core class aimed at Seniors. He teaches Core to others also. People in my Active Senior Class are mostly in their 70s and 80s and close to 90. There’s a couple currently on a cruise to celebrate his 90th.
I’m 78 and one of my friends is 87. I guess my diet is a modified paleo with limited carbs. The older people may not move as fast in class or have weights that are only 4lbs but they’re moving and trying. They come into the gym with walkers and canes God bless them.
I feel 20 years younger and have more energy than ever. It’s as simple as diet and exercise and working around any medical or dietary limitations. And boy, does it improve your mental outlook. I’m also blessed with good genes and health so that’s a major plus.
Us older people rock. If we walk with a brisk step and stay alert we won’t be targets for thieves. Don’t even try to take anything from me without a fight. I’m a lot stronger than I look.....growl 😡

Try Banza Pasta - made with chickpeas - good texture (not mush) and loaded with protein

Sounds like you are doing great. I'm a 70 year old female. I have stage 3 kidney disease. How did you go down to stage 2? I don't understand that you couldn't have 6-8 oz. protein. Can you explain.
I’m thinking about starting the keto pills. But I had a heart ablation last year for a fib. Just wondering if they are safe to take?
