I’m thinking about starting the keto pills. But I had a heart ablation last year for a fib. Just wondering if they are safe to take?

@diane69, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @avmcbellar and others. Also, I would also recommend that you discuss the keto pills with your doctor or care team before using them. Connect members are patients like yourself and really cannot give medical advice. We can share our experience with them though so may others who have experience can share with you.

I would like to add to everyone elses' comments. Keto pills are not recommended for anyone with heart disease, and in general a Keto diet may not be wise for anyone with heart disease due to the additional cholesterol ingested. All the cardiology journals which address the diet say it should only be undertaken in consultation with a cardiologist who will monitor your bloodwork.
