@mostlybill I will have to consider yoga again, especially if some of the classes are all in the prone position. That has not been the case in the classes that I have attended. I would also really like to learn to meditate, I hear so many positives about it. I have a lot of trouble quieting my mind though.
JK
I have always had extreme difficulty meditating until I began to attend yoga classes. We are led through a breathing and relaxation routine, then exercises and finally a 5 minute period of meditation at the end of the hour. It gets easier. The exercise helps the mind and body to relax and prepare for meditation. I have become interested in learning more and hope to attend some workshops that go deeper into meditation.
I am sorry to hear that your blood pressure remains high. I am new to this form. I take Lisinopril and Metoprolol for my hypertension. It takes care of it. But lately I have been getting many headaches and I sweat like it's 100 degrees inside. I change clothes several times a day cause they are wet. And man does it feel uncomfortable.
It could be attributed to the other 14 prescriptions I am taking. I don't know. I am not sure if I want to be a living donor or not. I feel like I should but not sure what my grown kids would say.
@mfunfar, Welcome to Connect. I commend you for considering living organ donation. I would like to share the Living Donor Tool Kit with you. I think that you will find it helpful information.

Also I want to provide some discussions where others are sharing their experiences about their living donation experience. There is a very thorough health investigation prior to being accepted as a donor, but since I have not experienced it, I want to If you to meet members who have/and are currently experiencing living organ donation. I know that they will share their knowledge of the process with you.Jjust click on the link you will be taken to the conversation.

I don't know which conditions might defer someone, or delay someone for approval. I you are going to donate at Mayo, there is contact information in the Living Tool Kit. You can sk questions and get information there. If you will be considering another facility, you will need to call them about your own situation.
Do you have someone in mind that you want to donate to? How long have you been thinking about this?
Hello @contentandwell and others,
I agree, @contentandwell, that the floor work that is part of a traditional yoga class is tough to do (especially if you have had hip or knee replacements). There are chair yoga videos on Youtube. You can try them out at home and see how they work for you. Here is the link,

Thanks @hopeful33250. I will definitely look into this.

Let me know what you think about it, @contentandwell
@hopeful33250. There are a zillion links there. I hope I can find time over the weekend to peruse them. Are there any in particular that you thought were helpful?
