Recipes, Food Tips, Healthy Eating & More
Some of the members of the Gratitude Discussion Group were interested in having a place to share recipes and food ideas. I’m hoping that we can use this thread as a place to have that kind of discussion. I’d love to hear your ideas for quick meals, comfort food, healthy snacks, and more.
Personally, I’ve just been through a bad reaction to one of my medications that left me with a very queasy stomach. I would love to hear ideas – or recipes – that might be used when you need to get something on your stomach, but don’t want to overdo it.
Hopefully, this thread will even be a place where we can share recipes for special treats and yummy rewards. It doesn’t always have to be healthy!
I’d love to hear from members who have been part of other discussions AND from new members who have good ideas, recipes and food tips to share. I’m excited to see who might start us off here with an awesome food suggestion!

I have done it on cod and salmon so far. Very good on both!
Honey, I’ve been cooking for 45 years! A little dab of this and a little shake of that makes the world turn!!! Lol
@margieinia The only way to cook
@lioness- Thank you. what is lunch days me pepper? I'll have to leave out the cayenne as I can't take a lot of heat. Sounds yummy. I'm thinking of making golden milk in a double batch or triple so I don't have to make it everyday. What do you think?
@margieinia- Here is a video for home made https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-everything-bagel-spice-223103
@merpreb I hate this auto writer ,didn't feel like deleting but did correct haha Making a batch I think sounds good as leaving it sit like you do with other things like s.sauce maybe makes it better I don't know but let me know how it turns out
@merpreb What kind of protein powder do you use? This sounds interesting.
@harriethodgson1 I am really looking forward to making your soup myself, maybe this week if it continues to be cool here. I love soup in the cool weather, and your recipe sounds so easy.

@contentandwell I have soup for tonight with hot dog then tomorrow will make that red lentil soup
@jakedduck1 Ina really explains everything well, so she makes it easy. I am sure there must be a "cooking for Dummies" cookbook though. If there is that might be a good book for you to get.
My daughter and her husband just left so now I can hang up my cooking utensils. The good thing is that there are enough leftovers to be tomorrow night's dinner.
