"Why bother?" What can we do when we are stuck?
This has been brought up before in things that help. Now maybe some can share how we get out of a rut to help ourselves. We all get stuck stuck at times. Curious as to what others do when stuck in that thought mode of "Why Bother?"

Hi @lioness
Just wondering about your hearing aid. How are you doing with it? Is it helping? Did it take a long time to adjust to it?
I'll probably be getting one some time this year and trying to get more information about them.
@hopeful33250 Yes the hearing aids have made a big difference .Sounds come through more clear not muffled .I have the battery kind but they have chargeable, no batteries but more expensive Thanks for all your help
I have been in a funk for theee months now. The tax season I worked through really burnt me out. I haven’t worked a full week of work since it ended and even when I do I slowly get through the day not getting much accomplished. What has anyone done to get out of this and get life back to normal. I am really struggling right now. Any help is appreciated.
Hi @socko. I’m sorry you’re having a tough time. I can relate.
Can you take a little time off? If so, maybe start off with a couple days of bed rest; then a couple or few days of calm activities you enjoy. Also, is there anyway you can simplify your life a bit? Even something small like donating things you don't use anymore?
Some people find that when they’re in a state like this, it helps to stop, rest and reevaluate things. It also often helps to get control over something in your life; even a small thing like organizing a closet or room, balancing your checkbook, or starting to eat healthier.
Maybe small things like this with give you the feeling of having control over things in your life instead of life and circumstances controlling you.
If not, keep posting and someone is sure to give you a suggestion that works for you.
Best wishes.
