Severe Stress/Anxiety/Insomnia
Hi guys,
Will update on my previous topic soon.
Right. For like the past week my stress/anxiety/insomnia have hit the roof. I'm over wraught, absolutely exhausted and have a mixture of symptoms such as severe stomach problems (Upset, the runs, acid and nausea), trembling hands, dry mouth, absolutely horrific migraines and an all out feeling of impending doom which is terrifying me (Paranoid feelings also, which are a part of BPD when you're stressed) so I'm up in a heap. My Doctor is away for the week so I ended up at the Pharmacy in such a state and told her I was about to bang my head off the wall and felt like vomiting. She was absolutely great on fairness and sold me a pill called "Excedrin", a mix of Paracetamol, Asprin and Caffeine. It's after taking a lot of the pain away but unfortunately I'm still left feeling shaky, sick, anxious, stressed and exhausted. It's not even 6pm here and I'm actually in my PJs and in bed as I write this. I just don't feel any bit sociable and have been ignoring phone calls because I don't have the mind to interact with anyone. I'm so sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining, but I just wanted to let people know what's going on for me (Mum's 9th anniversary is in four weeks too which has me even more upset). I promise to update on everything else soon. I don't have the energy to go into it now,

its the adrenal gland being stuck in the flight and fright process to protect your body I would add have an Epsom salt bath or use wash cloth and rub the Epsom salt over your body then leave it and then shower off in an oatmeal bath via soaking oatmeal in old stockings and dangling in bath and let it infuse thru you bath . I was advised to utilize breathing techinigues and slow my breathing down and close my eyes and focus on wiggling my fingers and being thankful, wiggling toes and thanking and thanking for my mum and the perfume of beautiful flowers .there is also massaging your heart chakra which sits about the middle of your breast bone or see if you can have a chakra massage and or reiki massage to free up your chakras and it does help
well I live mittagong nsw 100 miles SW of Sydney Australia a shot of whiskey does help and 2 glasses of wine also helps to relax you no more than that
@sirgalahad Thanks for this information I'm aware of the chakra,a but didn't think of rubbing them I get email from Nancy Houser Energy teacher ever hear of her she talks about the chakra I'm new to connect but am glad to meet you Linda
@sirgalahad Gosh with that kind of a job, it's not a wonder you can feel stressed.

@sirgalahad You are so special God is your only peace What you do is Gods work You must remember to do things to relax every week if possible to continue your work. Walks in the woods/ Massages/Tai Chi/Yoga You deserve it Sometimes you need to walk away and work elsewhere for a year. It would be very understandable.
@yangedd - I'm sorry that you are feeling so hyped. Are you taking any new medicines or started a new food? Sometimes these can make a person hyped.
@merpreb Hiya,
I'm not on any new medication. Another sleepless night again. I'm highly on edge and have tremors. I actually feel like I'm just not with it. Like nothing feels remotely real. The nurse is running late (It's just gone noon) so I'm beginning to become agitated with it all. It took all my strength to shower and shave this morning and get ready. I'm also beginning to have fleeting moments of utter horror and panic and that dreaded feeling of impending doom and it's scaring me. I spent the night on YouTube watching music videos in an effort to just relax.
Will update again this afternoon if I'm feeling able to. And I will get back to everyone who has replied to me too.

@yangedd- Hang in there! You can, you know!
@sirgalahad these are such great ideas! I’m going to have to remember them. My mom is 95 and is getting fragile. I think I’ll start finding favorite music, charities, etc. I’ll be sure to share your ideas with my siblings! Thank you. You’ve certainly come up with very positive ways to honor your mom—she’d be very pleased. Becky
