Holiday greetings to all of you as well! This group really helped me through my donation journey. I just passed my six month follow up check up with flying colors. My husband (and recipient) is experiencing rejection issues however, and that is very stressful. The Mayo doctors are adjusting his meds, and we pray that the changes will help. Thanks for all the support these last 6 months!

@triciaodonnell Tricia, that's wonderful that you were a donor for your husband, but I am sure quite distressing that he is experiencing rejection issues. I hope they manage to get that under control. When I questioned my surgeon about what would happen if rejection occurred, he just told me not to worry, that they would take care of it, so I trust that they would. What were your husband's symptoms that led them to discover that he was having issues? It's been two years and three months for me now and no problems but they say that no matter how long it has been, rejection can occur. At this point, I worry more about catching something than I do rejection.

@triciaodonnell So sorry to hear of this concern. It must be scary! My husband is 26 months out from kidney transplant. I worry more than he does, about rejection. Keeping you both close in prayer.
