CBD Oil

Posted by suemer @suemer, Sep 11, 2018

Has anyone tried this for pain? My daughter-in-law is waiting for steroid injections as she has 2 buldging disks in her back and a torn ligament. Her doctors prescribed Tylenol and Tylenol 3. Did not work. CBD Oil has made a difference. She swears by it! Anyone else tried it?

I buy a hemp protein powder from Wal-Mart, as the hemp is a great source of fiber. Yet not aware it contains CBD.

@gardeningjunkie did you find something for you sister? I've been studying the different CBD oils and have discovered that if it's not water soluble, you will only absorb an average of 3 to 6%. I've been taking Zilis UltraCell that has been tested by the Mayo Clinic and it has an absorption rate average of 85 to 94%. It's also full spectrum which makes all the difference. Maybe that's what she needs? If you're interested, let me know. I ended up joining when I felt how much it was helping me and it has changed my world. My anxiety is completely gone and so is the pain!!

If it doesn't list CBD oil on the ingredient list and that is the purpose of your hemp supplement you should contact Nutiva and as the if it contains it. Perhaps natural hemp contains it, but at such a tiny level it would not give you the CBD benefit you are might be wanting. As mentioned I take the a hemp protein powder supplement for the fiber benefit and protein benefit.

I'll keep that brand in mind you have provided useful information Right now using up a bottle of isolate and I agree that the full spectrum is more effective and even though it just has trace amounts of THC I do feel "brighter" and "happier" after I use it. Not at all a drug high like with MJ. With the isolate no mood change, yet necessary if one is subject for drug testing. I will go back to the full spectrum. I am hoping that with the legalization of hemp growing in the US in 2018 hemp will become an abundant crop and the prices will drop.I see Zillis is for sale on the internet, yet confused since you mentioned joining. Is that for a better price? I noted the online prices were comparable to what I have paid for other products which are oil based.

@gardeningjunkie, you do get a better price when you join. Retail, a months supply is 149, but after you join the monthly rate goes down to 99. Two bottles a month would go down to 179. I hope that helps. With the Zilis, I actually notice a change in my mood within mins! The first time I tried it, I didn't see it coming at all! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. But yes, hopefully after the Farm Bill is signed everything will be easier regarding CBD oil.

As defined by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, integrative medicine “combines mainstream medical therapies and complementary and alternative therapies for which there is some high-quality scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness.” I always recommend caution when someone posts about a cream that cures all. It is important that each member evaluate carefully the information provided by members. Thank you, @lioness for questioning the post.
