CBD Oil
Has anyone tried this for pain? My daughter-in-law is waiting for steroid injections as she has 2 buldging disks in her back and a torn ligament. Her doctors prescribed Tylenol and Tylenol 3. Did not work. CBD Oil has made a difference. She swears by it! Anyone else tried it?

I also need to correct, I am looking for pain relief, but my pain is moderate arthritis. What I meant was if I was looking for severe pain relief I would try a larger dosage. Yet, all sites say to start low to test how you react as they say all react differently.
Yes, I have been using it for 30 days for my Chronic Fatique it has helped tremendously. The Chronic Fatique was dillabataiing now I can go all day and not have to lay down or take breaks. I can drive now as before I could not. It is a mircale for me with the CBD oil as in another 60 days wow it will be remarkable.
I am with you about feeling calmer with the CBD I use 750 free THC of 15 drops two x daily and it helps so much I guess that why I do not worry so much about the weeds I use to never let a weed get ahead of me. My oa is so much better along with my Cronic Fatitque
Have you tried Kratom? I was on opiates for years due to degenerative disc issues. Then boom, no more. I was NOT paying for rehab, for methadone, for money grubbing counselors that have a huge recidivism rate because they just don't get it. Kratom allowed me to withdraw with minor annoyance and discomfort. I now feel SO PROUD that I did it myself, with the help of a natural plant that the FDA is trying to hard to ban. Pharmaceutical companies, rehab centers, all will lose customers if people begin to take charge of their lives THEMSELVES. Facebook has about 8 different Kraton groups that are closed, meaning private from everyone but the group. You can join one and learn so much about taking control of your pain.
Kratom relieves pain, period. CBD oil does help, but not enough. I am a wimp about chronic pain!
Oh, was so glad to see this information, since I just took a leap of faith and ordered Kratom, for my hip pain, year long pain, while I tried to find any other solution besides THR. I also tried CBD oil, with NO improvement, and I just will NOT take opiates (am a retired Psych RN, drug rehab work). I will post when time permits the assessment of relief. The FDA does NOT protect us, it protects BIG PHARMA, and the implant business. martha
Martha, If I may ask, what strain did you get,and did you use a vetted vendor? One who tests their products for safety and purity? Reds are generally best for pain. You can get higher levels of concentration depending on your level of pain, but when you jump up to a more concentrated product, obviously the less concentrated need to be consumed in greater quantities. I have 200X that I ONLY use for severe pain, also liquid extract which I use the same way. Red Bentuangie is one red strain that helps at night with sleep also.
@marthaellen so glad to see your post Im retired nurse and agree with you
I do understand the desperate need to escape pain and many are forced to take drugs just to stay sane and get relief. Living with pain 24/7 is something which unless you have lived it, as I did a few years ago, you would not understand. I would have sold my soul to the devil to be pain free for just a few minutes. Yet after researching about Kratom I read that it is used to get folks off of opiates and like opiates it is addictive, yet is this a Big Pharm scare tactic? Perhaps someday I will be at a pain level again that it won't matter if it is addictive or not, but now am managing to deal will mild to moderate current health issues. . I have even had to give up my Nsaids because of climbing blood pressure, and have accepted living a life with a certain amount of pain, after all I'm turning 70 the end of this year. I am experimenting with CBD oil because I have not read of usage side effects that worry me. Like me many have discovered CBD does have various benefits, for me if I am getting pain relief it is mild, yet love the calming effect it has.
What type of implants are you referring to? I am assuming it for you hip. I do know many success stories of friends with hip replacement. Yet I lost a dear friend a few years ago who originally had hip replacement surgery at a Saint Louis MO hospital by a famous orthopedic surgeon. She wouldn't heal because she picked up a drug resistant bacteria in her hip. Trying desperately to cure the infection she took trips to Mayo in MN to see specialists. Her last trip there was the last time I saw her, as she lost her battle with this bacteria. It wasn't the implant per say, it was what she picked up during surgery.
@gardeningjunkie: "Yet after researching about Kratom I read that it is used to get folks off of opiates and like opiates it is addictive, yet is this a Big Pharm scare tactic?" ASK YOURSELF THIS: What happens to rehab centers, large parts of the entire pharmaceutical industry if there is a relatively cheap alternative. OF COURSE Scott Gottlieb would love you to think it is an OPIATE, and addictive. Who lobby's him the hardest?
Watch the movie on NFLX, Leaf of Faith and then ask the same questions. I do not need to take it, and if I don't have pain, I don't take it.
Do some people get mildly addicted? Probably. There is something called STEM that you can take to ease off Kratom, but I am not interested in easing off something that has allowed me to live opiate free and relatively pain free.
If you are on Facebook there are many groups about Kratom, even Ladies of Kratom. You will learn a lot by keeping an open mind and not listening to our government like they were all knowing. They have deliberately disregarded real science to spout junk science to help the Pharma industry. JMO
