I have had chronic pain in my neck and back for 3 1/2 years. I have been to 14 different doctors, providers, and therapy. Currently I go to occupational therapy for myofascial release and physical therapy for central sensitivity. The occupational therapy helps some. But I am questioning the physical therapy for almost 4 months I am no better off than when I started. I have pain when I sit, when I stand, and when I walk. I rotate my position every 30 minutes so I don’t get more pain. I am at the point where enough is enough. With no answers and continued pain. I had been prescribed opioid pain meds and have been taking them for three years. I did not want to get addicted or overdose so I wean myself off of them. It was hard and lots of with drawl but I am currently on no pain meds. I had been taking 12 different medicines every day. The pain meds made it worse. I am not sure where to go from here but I’m struggling with driving to appointments and the gas in my car since I’ve had no income for three and half years. I also have fiber myalgia, IBS, headaches, short term memory problems that have been documented, Arthritis, hip pain, depression, and anxiety. I have gained a lot of weight due to not working or moving over the past 3 1/2 years. Any thoughts, recommendations, or support would be welcome.

I went thru it by myself and it nearly killed me My doctor had put me on Morphine. So much for him knowing anything about RA. Well I got tired of being tired and quit when I ran out of pills. My doctor was not happy with me that I had not called him for help. One week after I had quit, three trips to ER. Ended up with Infectious Gall Bladder. Surgery on that took longer due o high infection. THIS IS WHY I want Marijuana. I am sick of the stupid power that is here in Texas. Refusing Marijuana. FINALLY went to a Hemp store yesterday. On first floor right near my Orthopedic doctor who had shot up my neck. Wait till I share this one with you. Anyway new store.Got 500 Mil of Pain Lotion. Not a 100% but it works. Store owner said the Fed had already been to his store. They are under a microscope. To many doctors and pill pushers going to loose their commission income when we quit the drugs and use MJ.
Something NEW. My doctor gave me shots in my neck. Suppose last 4 to 6 hours. NOT. According to dr, Feds now want him to do these shots at TWO different appts and have patient fill out a diary. IF I pass, they will give me Steroids in my neck and back. I still have to go through the two trial trips on my back before I get any relief. This is all to control our society. The rich probably never go through this.
@oregongirl That is so rediculus cant spell today. That's it in a nut shell Dr,s and pharmacy are worried they will lose there income. Glad you found some help hope that store stays open I wouldn't go back for neck shots if they only work for that long. I use a lot of different muscle rubs beside CBD cream I like a product from NOW its called Glucosamine MSM @arnica for joint areas its a liposome technology Arnica gives me relieve as well as the tea Ginger-turmeric tea from Trader Jo,s have to do what we can as the prescription drugs or naturel don't last only give us relieve unfortunately guess this is the price we pay for living our lives and doing whatever we thought was fun now we are hurting does water therapy help you ? I have to get back into it as it did me then it became to hard for me to get there but I found one close to me ,have to have warm water therapy.
Lioness. It's not that shot only last maybe ,2 hrs, but that by law they have to give me low dose short term twice before they are lowed to use high dose last maybe 6 months and eligble to try for more. Who makes these laws
Meanwhile I have my dental issues. Dentist quit and left me with pain. 8000 I pd for him to do this to me. I may have to hire an atty.
@oregongirl We need to get more proactive and send email,s to legislature ,congress, President Trump he advocates for the whole world wonder if he would for us ? We do what we have to do the thing I worry about is what steroids do to our body kidneys,liver? I sometimes think of the way other places in the world treat there elderly much better then here Did you ever look into those websited I gave you ? No beach except on gulf. ISH and hot. When I lived in Oregon I took my dogs and off to beach.

@oregongirl Id like to say what I think but would get in trouble The only thing that people can turn to are well know forms like Mayo,Cleveland clinic ,John Hopkins those Dr,s that have a good reputation from others ,alternative therapy .Seems like the old remedies are the best sometimes.
