Samantha- I am so happy to hear that she is doing well. As far as I am concerned, unless she is allergic to potatoes, she should eat what she wants. Any person who has cancer should eat what they want unless there is good scientific proof not to. My position is that cancer is enough to deal without confining what one eats. I know that you and your mother are vegetarians so give her anything she wants - and if you are really uncertain ask her doctor. Does she like sweets? Tapioca or puddings are very soothing, and there is always ice cream! She needs good protein while her body fights her cancer. It sounds like you are a wonderful daughter. May I ask, does she live alone? How is her pain level?
No dear we are not vegetarian...but we were not sure of giving her meats.....she is not alone.....but I see many write ups in Google that talks about ....that potatoes are not good for cancer patient...and moreover she hasn't undergone any chemo or surgery ...so don't feel ok to give her potatoes
Samantha- I am sorry for assuming that you were vegetarian. There are no special cancer "diets". Unless your doctor has limited her diet, for any reason, please do not pay any attention to what is written on line. If there is a dietitian at your clinic you might want to check with her/him. Since your mom has a better appetite now that is suggestive of how well you are feeding her! Keep it up. What is suggested is lots of colorful food, which means a large variety. Perhaps because potatoes have a boring color some people think that they aren't good. Potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C. https://www.livescience.com/45838-potato-nutrition.html Has your mom's pain remained in control?
Good morning Samantha- I have thought of you often and have wondered how your mom is doing. And how are you doing? How did she not respond well?
As we started giving her the CBD she felt .... tightness around her chest
Samantha- That's too bad. How is she doing now?
For now by God's grace she is doing good ...and she is eating well too....btw need suggestions....will be ok if I give her potatoes
