Stage 3 Kidney Disease and Diet: What can I eat?

Posted by carnes @carnes, Jun 11, 2018

It seems there is very little you can eat that is healthy for the Kidneys. The web site Davida has plenty of food on it but contradicts what other sources say. Anyone know anything for breakfast, lunch and dinner that does not have any sugar or flour bodies the obvious boring or bland foods good for Kidneys and I’m allergic to sugar of any kind of sweetener and flour. Thank you.

Hi dear darlingtondoll, from Georgia in Australia --Read the paperback Lifespan by David Sinclair of Harvard Med. School --Chapter 4. It is in layman's terms. The plan is on page 304. See what you think ?
The simplistic, genetic explanation for that is -- it increases the accuracy of the making of your new cells, because it put back into circulation in your body the "stuff" that you "used to have when you were younger that made you able to program cell division accurately and to repair cells completely and accurately when they were damaged. " Those are "near to" Davids's videos." He tell you how the body does it . Fascinating. I have lost some sensory nerves and I am hoping they are repaired. ???
I have told you I teach biotech and physics so I have done a lot of reading on his work. I am trying the program -- even though it is only in trial now at Harvard.
That is me. ?? If you ask your GP don't be surprised if he or she has never heard of it.
I want to think of "old age" without multiple organ and systems breakdowns. That would be nice. ??? I will take a before and after picture, YES?? I am 85----"What is that Movie? Back to the Future with Michael J. Fox. !!!

I got my book on Lifespan today. When I read page 304, I realized that I do most of what he does except taking resveratrol and metformin. I have to check them out. I have been taking most of the other things though. I can’t go for a walk, so I can only do a few exercises at home. I have kept my weight down to 120 pounds and am fairly strong. I want to live a bit longer and be healthy.

There is an error in phosphorus content for the potato nuggets, it should read 66 mg P and 63.5 mg should be added to the day's phosphorus total.
