I have practiced mindfulness for decades having learned about it when in my 30's. Right now I am focusing on using the body as a focus point starting with my feet. The only situation I have encountered was that after about 10 minutes I fall into a deep, restful sleep and wake up energized.

I am presently learning how to focus on the body and that seems to be working out well but I still have a lot to learn about it. I start with my feet and so far have only been able to get to my knees without falling into a deep, restful sleep. I am doing it a couple of times a day but the results seem to last for a long time.
