Wanted: Organ Transplant Recipients Who Have Been Hit By a Car
"Are there any transplant recipients of any organ who have been hit by a car? How did you recover? What helped you to recover from the multiple injuries?
I am posting this discussion question on behalf of one of our members,
@glinda who has recently been hit by a car and asked me to do it for her. Due to multiple injuries, she may not be able to respond right now and can read your messages.
Your support and encouragement will be appreciated as she recovers.

Hello @glinda
It is so good to hear from you! What remarkable progress you have made. I'm so glad that your reversal surgery is all over now.
You mentioned that your counselor gave you some coping mechanisms for PTSD. Could you share some of that?

@glinda it’s been a very long road for you but thankfully it sounds like things are getting better. You seem to have a very positive attitude and I believe that’s a large part of the battle.

@glinda, This is a great update! Amazing progress since we last communicated! I hope the medication adjustments will help you feel even better as time goes on. And I have my fingers crossed that the kidney function resolves itself soon.
Your son and daughter must feel relieved to see such improvement. And WOW being home after your recent hospitalization is definitely a "Home Sweet Home" event.

Hello @glinda
You came to mind so I thought I would drop in and say "hello." I hope you are continuing to improve. Can you post an update sometime soon?
@rosemarya i was in our blooming daffodil garden yesterday, thinking of our nice discussion ! I’m unable to add photos now , taken previously, it appears they maybe too big? And now I see I posted in the wrong discussion thread! I searched for a daffodil message and hit reply. using my iPhone.
