Hello @mrser52, I merged you discussion about finding others with tentorial meningioma in to you previous discussion started on Tentorial Meningioma Brain Tumor so that you could reconnect with the members who joined that discussion. You mentioned that you were feeling pressure in your eye and forehead a few days ago, has that got any better?

I am so depressed with all of the nerve pain and pressure in my right eye and forehead. I don't know how much longer I can deal with this. I just feel like giving up. I feel like there is no end of all of this.

Hi Elaine @mrser52,

I'm so sorry hear that you are feeling so low, but I also want to thank you for reaching out and leaning on this community, because it tells me, and other Connect members how resilient you are! Everyone experiences things in different ways, but I'm certain that, at some point, you will connect with someone here, who has gone or is going through much of what you are experiencing.

Intracranial pressure tends to be higher from lying in bed for a few hours, as when you sleep; do you feel the headaches are more intense when you wake up in the morning? Have you talked to your doctor about the headaches worsening?

Yes I have, I don't have this when I wake up in the mornings. It happens during the day. And my doctor won't give me an answer why this is happening to me. This is why I am so depressed and why I just want to give up. It is so hard to deal with not knowing if this is normal, to be happening during the day.

I want to Thank You, you really helped me when you mention intracranial pressure. At least I know that this might be why I feel the pressure behind my right eye and in my forehead. Tomorrow I have a MRI, and once that is done I hope all of my depression and thoughts of hurting myself goes away. Thank You again.

Tentorial meningiomas represent about 5% of intracranial meningiomas. Tentorial meningiomas are rare tumors located along the surface of the tentorium cerebella in the brain. These types of posterior fossa meningiomas can cause headaches, seizures, and difficulty walking. (Reference http://www.mountsinai.org/care/neurosurgery/services/meningiomas/types)
Anteromedial refers to the location, namely in front and toward the middle.

Mrser, has your diagnosis been established as a tentorial meningioma?

I have been diagnosed with a 5mm left tentorial leaflet menginoma, I've already got a 6mm frontal menginoma since 2011, I've had no issue that I know of from the 1st one. But a month or 2 before I had this last MRI that found the new tentorial menginoma. My doctor said this is nothing to worry about, but he knows I wake with a headache every morning and the worst part is my eyes burn horrible. Is this part of either or 1 of ylthe menginomas possible?

@jamie9, welcome to Connect. @mrser52 will appreciate connecting with someone else who also has tentorial menginoma. Elaine also mentions problems, not a burning as such, but rather pressure behind her eye and forehead.

Jamie, I can't imagine the burning sensation. Is this actually in your eyes that you feel the burning or behind the eyes? Is your doctor considering surgery or treatment of some kind?
