Acceptance: Anyone have difficulty accepting new limitations daily?
Does anyone have difficulty accepting new limitations daily? Is it helpful or a bit of denial to keep photos out of yourself riding, dancing, all of which are just fantasies at this point? Thank you.

At times I go to the grocery store to have a connection with others. Thankful for the employees that tolerate the rudeness of customers. I say to the employees the attitudes of others are not an indication of the person "you" are. It says the type of person they are...
Thats good! I go to lowes and have gotten to know about 10 of the clerks. They are happy to see me and I am careful to always compliment them in a professional manner and a short visit. Many share the latest edition events such as new grand babies, someone sick, I am always willing to listen
It gives me a chance to walk, look at special sale items and get out of the house.
that's the world we live in. Shame! But then, there are mass murderers, serial killers, rapists, etc. I have often pondered the fact that the majority of the world resources probably go to law enforcement (and even that doesn't stop criminality or worse).
@clydecaldwell So I am not the only one!! Have a blessed time.
@jshdma It has always been thus in that the few cause difficulties for others. Is what it is. Crime does not pay in the long run.
I feel like I'm a member of a pretty terrific club. I thought I was the only person who went to the grocery to see a smile, have a conversation, feel human. Ninety nine percent of the time the judgment I anticipate does not exist. Turns out MS has taught me a valuable lesson.
Discovered that photographing new leaves being lit by the morning sun is almost as fulfilling as being able to run through that grass. Thanks for a piece of wisdom I wasn't aware of until I read your post.
People keep offering to go to the grocery store for me. I don't want them to do my grocery shopping. This simple task gets me out of the house and I often meet friends at the store. Besides, I love to cook, wrote a cookbook, and prefer to grocery shop on my own.

My sister, who has MS, gets a lot of enjoyment from her horses. Her husband wrecked his motorcycle a number of years ago, suffering traumatic brain injury, and I'm sure that his horse has been a factor in the amount of function he's regained. We have ten acres, and friends have their horses on the place. They do all the work, while we get to enjoy watching them. We don't ride, but we like living in the country, with irrigated fields and livestock around.

Animals are gifts of God. We need to cherish and care for them. Then they care for us.
