I was on gabapentin/neuronton a number of years ago for severe spinal/neck pain and headaches. I’m on it now for the same thing. It definitely works, but it has its drawbacks one of them being sometimes you can’t remember what you want to say. I know I have blocks in my thought process when I’m trying to talk. It’s funny, now it doesn’t seem as bad now, as it did the first time I tried it, don’t know why. I don’t think I have the other problem you’re talking about, but it does effect nerves and makes them less sensitive. so it makes sense.
No but I have read that it does not work.
That was my prop with my surgeon... DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT.
