Heart Leaks

Posted by ml54 @ml54, Sep 21, 2017

I am a 63 female with moderate aortic, mitral and tricuspid leak. What is my outlook. My Cardiologist is currently trying to lower my blood pressure however I can feel my irregular heartbeat to the point where I get panic attacks. I don't know if I should get a second opinion or if my doctor is doing the right thing by treating me with medicine rather than operate. Does anybody have any information about this? Thanks, Mary

I get the rapid heartbeat a lot and also goes as low as 43 and we had thought it would be but he rulled it out because I do have Nexplon birth control and thinking I.had this even before now, like when I was 12 but thought nothing of it because I was always moving because I lived on a family farm where I grew up but never had it checked out

Hello again @ml54, not sure about my last post to you as I am in a remote area using my cell phone to respond. I am sorry you are going those terrible symptoms, it will get better for you. If you have just been prescribed medication it can take a while before it starts working.
Can I ask how long have you been experiencing these symptoms? Just wondering if it's something new or if you have had them for a while.
Best wishes for your good health,

Hello @tomonthebeach , so sorry I failed to welcome you until now. Your earlier response to @ml54 is much appreciated by all, including myself, who suffer with irregular heart rhythm. Thank you for telling your story.
How are you doing? has there been any positive changes in your condition?
