New PARI Nebulizer Options Coming Our Way?

Posted by scoop @scoop, Oct 5 12:45pm

PARI has introduced some new nebulizer products that, for now, appear to be available only in Europe. The new portable PARI BOY Go appears to be available only in Germany at this point.

I’d love to see these products introduced in the USA sooner rather than later, although I realize there are regulatory and other hurdles that have to be cleared first.

It might be possible for someone traveling to Europe or Germany to purchase one or both of these devices, although I don’t know what issues there might be with bringing them back to the USA, power compatibility, warranties, replacement parts, etc.

PARI BOY Go:

eFlow rapid nebulizer system, smaller new controller:

If anyone has information or experience with either of these newer products, please post any details here.

Since bronchiectasis is a lifelong condition, it’s encouraging to see continued development of nebulizer technology. Anything that can make our daily treatment routines faster, easier, or more portable could make a meaningful difference in managing the disease over the long term.

@wangling, including 4 or 5 small pauses to expel mucus, it took 6 minutes to nebulize 4 ml of saline.

Thank you! And when I looked it was 75Euros. I've asked for a price adjustment.

@spider109, faster and totally quiet and no cord. All these are big plusses for me. And it does help me bring up mucus, whereas the others machines did not, also a big plus for me. And it is small, it fits easily in a medium size purse or in a computer bag. It does appear to be the right machine for me.

@gigiv did you go from no mucus to mucus from deeper lungs. I have used everything available to me including a therapist cupping my lungs and still nothing moves. So I think may be this new Pari will be my miracle

@lilianna, I went from barely any mucus to a more productive cough. I have generally been feeling pretty good for a while. I exercise 6 days a week (lots of cardio and weights and resistance training) and don't really feel restricted, although I do mask when going to stores and public places and indoor places with people. This Pari Boy Go seems to help the saline go deeper in my lungs probably because I breathe deeper. So far, it has been my favorite nebulizer for various reasons. Of course, we are all different. The price today is pretty good!
