New PARI Nebulizer Options Coming Our Way?

Posted by scoop @scoop, Oct 5 12:45pm

PARI has introduced some new nebulizer products that, for now, appear to be available only in Europe. The new portable PARI BOY Go appears to be available only in Germany at this point.

I’d love to see these products introduced in the USA sooner rather than later, although I realize there are regulatory and other hurdles that have to be cleared first.

It might be possible for someone traveling to Europe or Germany to purchase one or both of these devices, although I don’t know what issues there might be with bringing them back to the USA, power compatibility, warranties, replacement parts, etc.

PARI BOY Go:

eFlow rapid nebulizer system, smaller new controller:

If anyone has information or experience with either of these newer products, please post any details here.

Since bronchiectasis is a lifelong condition, it’s encouraging to see continued development of nebulizer technology. Anything that can make our daily treatment routines faster, easier, or more portable could make a meaningful difference in managing the disease over the long term.

I just read that you can attach the Aerobika to it. Yay!

yes, it does fit with the Aerobika. I don't use it tjhat way but it's definitely possible. I really like this Pari Boy go. Much faster than my Ombra and my Pari Trek, completely silent, efficient (all 4 ml of saline are nebulized), quick easy operating, easy cleaning. I just love it.
only flaw of design I see: I would have put the indicator light to the side so that we can see it while using the Boy Go, but it's just me being picky.
I definitely recommend getting it. For me, it is a huge improvement to my process, timewise and convenience wise.
Best wishes of great health to all of us!

I used Pari Boy Go this evening. It is almost as good as Pari eRapid I have. Pari Boy Go took 3min 30 seconds for Duoneb and 6 Minutes for 7% Sodium Chloride. It loosened Sputum like pari eRapid but I produced slightly less sputum than eRapid. I always felt eRapid works to loosen sputum in upper bronchus and Pari Pro Neb Max reachehes down further to alveoli. I use Hillrom vest while I nebulize Sodium Chloride with my Respiratory Tech's advice and it works better for me when I combine it together. Pari Boy Go has USB C port, but cable is not included in the package. Cleaning is really simple. It only has 2 pieces to assemble & disassemble to wash which means less chance to contaminate from handling. I recommend it to use it for Travel. Even though I don't know the longevity of this machine.

there are 2 pl;astic parts you either boil or put in nthe baby bottle sterilizer. The body of the compressor you wipe clean after each use.
Very easy cleaning, strong flow of nebulized saline.
it's a real winner in my view.

@gigiv thank you so much for the info . Is a microwave bag not mentioned in the manufacturer’s instructions ?

@cholash
I believe there is metal in the nebulizer head precluding the use of a microwave.

@gigiv, Thank you so much for the update. How long does it take for 4ml saline to finish?

@bkim408 have you ever been told where the worst of your BE is? I for one have been told that mine is both lower lobes, & posterior. So am wondering if this machine would be very useful to me. I currently use a pro neb at home which works fairly well at home. Although I think it is terrific that companies are coming up with new equipment for us, I think the location of the worst of each individuals BE plays a HUGE role in how effective the nebulizer & medication is. I hope and pray that everyone can find a nebulizer that works well for them. Better breathing for us all.

I wonder how strong the aerosol flow is after attaching aerobika to the nebulizer. Have you tried it this way?
