Family members that consume alcoholic beverages. Have medical conditions that they should not consume alcohol. But yet they do.

Good evening again.

In this situation, I have learned that the person is addicted and is not willing to take the steps necessary to help themselves.

If they do not want to stop drinking, there is absolutely nothing anyone else can do for them.
I learned that from going to Al-anon Meetings. Al-anon is for families and friends of alcoholics.
My dad was in tremendous pain but he would not take his medication because he refused to stop drinking. That was his choice.
