Anyone else feel overwhelmed by all their medical appointments?
I have been overwhelmed with all the appointments I have. So much going on right now. I’m in therapy twice a week and see a psychiatrist every 2-3 weeks. I just made appointment with a PsyD because she specializes in neurological issues.
Sometimes it’s really hard for me to explain exactly what I am feeling. Sometimes I don’t feel like talking but I get in my therapy appointments and I have a lot to say all of a sudden. I suffer from PTSD, Anxiety and Severe Depression.
Does anyone else feel like this?

Thanks to all . I don’t feel so alone. At 76 I guess I won’t be around to see how the world ends up dealing with all this mess. (I’m kind of curious though— I know there are some answers on how to streamline various aspects of healthcare for all … “some day !” )

1 ReactionAlso feeling overwhelmed by so many medical appointments. I wonder if the doctors realize just how stressful it can be for seniors and those with reduced mobility to prepare themselves to be presentable and/or make arrangements for attendance.
Never mind the exposure to illness waiting in crowded waiting rooms. Seniors are more vulnerable to Covid and Flu season is on the way.
If it’s just for a follow up and no physical exam is needed virtual appointments make it less stressful. Not all. doctors are open to this and make you come in just to ask you how you’re doing.
