SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Profile blood test.

Posted by 2roses @2roses, Oct 24, 2024

If you have not had one of these test, you may want to request one. One thing it will tell you is how much of the spike protein is in your blood. Mine is over 17,000, which is high. I had the J and J shot and came down with Covid twice. Still waiting for my micro clotting test results.
This is how my LC clinic explained things to me.
The pathology of the spike protein is that it attaches to ACE 2 receptors and nicotinic receptors decreasing the ability to be released and metabolized. This causes overall inflammation throughout. Clotting cascade occurs leading to micro-clotting and hypoxic tissue causing cellular dysregulation. Anti-body response increases spike antibodies that also cause inflammation. Goal of therapy is to help release spike protein from cells, decrease overall inflammation and address micro-clotting with a layered treatment approach.
Because of my Mast Cell Activation response to the spike protein, we need to get my mast cells under control before going after the spike proteins and micro clotting.
I am not sure if my info will help anyone else, but I have many of the same symptoms that LC patients have.
I have started the treatment plan a few weeks ago and my bad insomnia has been significantly improved, sleeping 7-8 hours a night.
I have not taken any of the boosters, and after seeing my level of spike protein already in my system, it has proven a wise choice. I do wear an N95 if I am in public places.

I am not sure what comment this refers to. I didn't put up anything about Covid 19 antibody tests.

Can you share what medications your doctors are using to address the spike protein persistence.

Hi - Thanks for replies - was looking for the test that bettinadr references where the result was "over 20000".

Dear 2roses,
Found your history very similar to mine. I am very grateful to concierge Dr's who have been willing to research, test, and help with this LC journey and have gotten to the point of Ok we have some answers to why this happens with proliferation of spike proteins, MCAS involvement, neuroinflammation, etc. My Dr's call this "Post Viral Syndrome" and think this has been going on long before Covid, and feel it is the driving factor behind ME/CFS, MS and other diseases. Covid just ramped up the affected population big time.
Yet, we still have no treatment. Granted this disease attacks all of us differently so very difficult to treat and we are all just struggling to find anything that gives us our lives back. Since you have been on this journey and tried multiple options I am very curious to know if your IVIG has helped at all?.

@bermuda8
SARS-CoV-2 Semi-Quant Spike Ab . This is the name of the Lab Corp test. Use Lab Corp because they test at higher levels. Quest only goes to 2500 I believe.

My symptoms are fatigue, tingling and numbness in hands and feet, poor sleep, solarplexus tightness, joint pain, occassional headaches, muscle tenderness and weakness (leg giving way) , heart palpitations, skin rashes that wont heal in a timely manner, some brain fog, loss of appetite,internal tremors, brain zaps, anxiety, some depression, overactive bladder, cold feet, some nausea, digestive issues and mood swings.
I think it is strange that I still have 20,000+ antibody proteins still in my body. Its been almost 5 years since I have had covid. How do I get rid of them?

Does the Jacksonville Mayo have a LC Clinic? I scheduled a phone call for Tuesday and they just cancelled it.

@bettinadr
Being one of the lucky few who actually got accepted into Mayo Jacksonville, my visit was not successful in finding any relief or answers. They are very efficient at testing for the obvious but do not take the extra care to look for Zebras. My experience was they will send you to Pulmonology to look for Asthma, then to Cardiology to look for heart disease, do a basic CBC, and try to treat those issues if something obvious is found. Most of us have been through the obvious already and nothing is found, so it is devastating again when Mayo Dr's tell you they don't see anything wrong and tell you there is nothing more they can do. Continue searching to find answers from recent research, try sites like longcovidalliance.org, listen to blogs, etc. You will start to get better understanding of what's going on in your body and answers.

Thank you for the info bettinadr. I also went to Mayo Jacksonville for a 2 day series of appointments and a LC group talk where they told everyone it was a neurological issue. This was after I had alot of other testing from other specialists to rule everything else out. They were no help at all really - best thing to come about from that visit is finding out about this forum.
