Anyone else on Daraxonrasib (RMC-6236)?

Waiting for the approval for my husband to start daraxonrasib. (the new and exciting drug just fast tracked by the FDA) Doc says he's a great candidate for this drug. Anyone else on this? I know about the awful rash you get from seeing the senator on TV. Doc has also styopped all treatment since April 11th. THAT kinda scares me?

I am starting the medication Tuesday. I am only taking one pill a day.
What is the best time of day for me to take it. I am starting on 150 milligrams a day.

Hey everyone.
So...... How are you doing on the daraxonrasib?
My husband has been on it for 3 weeks now and has zero energy. Although he didnt have much prior to starting either. He had some vomiting/diarrhea on/off the first few days. Now a little rash on his nose area. Otherwise seems ok. We get his cancer labs done next week and PET done end of October. He doesnt talk much at all and just wants to sit with his eyes closed all day. Rarely wants to go out and do anything at all. I harass him to eat or drink protein drinks because he has lost over 100lbs. He also has blood clots in both legs and his feet are swollen. So very depressing.

My husband was on Rasonque for 2 weeks. He has liver and lung metastasis. He got a little diarrhea for a few days which was controlled with immodium and got a rash on his face, back and chest which is not causing any discomfort as he uses the prescribed medication and creams. He has debilitating fatigue and they found that his ammonia is high so that was causing the extreme fatigue so they have him on medications to extract the ammonia from his system. So hopefully, along with increasing his white blood cell count and hemoglobin level his energy should improve. Hopefully, he will be able restart the Rasonque, even if it is at a reduced dose, because in just the 2 weeks his CEA was already decreasing. CA19-9 was not a marker for him as his was always 0.6. The relentless fight against this disease continues.

Thanks for all sharing. could u share the patient's physical condition at the time they decided to take this medication. My family member was diagnosed a month ago and already has liver metastases. The situation is now critical, and the cancer has spread to the brain. The hospital told us there is nothing more they can do; we are wondering "6236" might be a another chance to improve the situation?

@mcoviello my husband takes it at 3:00 p.m., as it coordinates with other medications best at that time. He's been on it for nearly 2 weeks

Yes, my husband is on it, and we are so grateful. A year of chemo was really hard on him.

Hello! On Daraxonrasib since 9/18/26-11 days. Initial diarrhea has stopped. No skin lesions. Nausea about 1 hour after taking 2 pills. Ativan relieves this. Run out of energy late in the afternoon. Labs due 10/1, CAT scan in 2 months. I am glad I am on the darax!

This Friday my husband will be on it for 4 weeks. First few days some vomiting and diarrhea. He is super tired. And now has a little rash on his ears, nose and mustache area. Not bad at all. Looks like tiny pimples. Getting labs done on Friday but next PET scan isnt until end of October. Ugh. So far away. Praying for the best.
