Recommendations for portable handheld nebulizers

Can anyone recommend a good handheld nebulizer?
So far my experience has been that they’re all pretty much the same and stop working after a too short a time. Thanks.

I've recently been diagnosed with bronchiectasis and am also looking for a portable nebulizer. Does anyone know anything about this one:

Philips Respironics InnoSpire Go Portable Vibrating Mesh Nebulizer

It costs a bit more than$200.

@cjrice As far as I know it is no longer available. Phillips went out of the nebulizer business a few years ago. It was a great machine, but had a tendency to leak after a few months. There doesn't seem to be anything of that quality on the market. The Naweti recommended above doesn't seem to be available any longer either.

@jerry22748 Yes, the $100 handheld ones are convenient, but they are not up to daily use, sometimes more than once a day. I'm not sure who the target market is, but it is not people who neb two or more times a day. And many cannot withstand sterilizing. I find it telling that none of the cheaper ones on the market have a warranty longer then 90 days.
Years ago, Philips mad a $300-400 dollar one that was pretty hardy, but they went out of the nebulizer business.
The one @scoop referred to is very pricy, it is a mesh one, but does have a small compressor base, and is pricy. We have had ours for over a year (2 of us use it with separate handsets) and it is proving to be reliable, fast & quiet. Compared to burning through multiple $50-70 ones in a year, I think it is going to be cheaper in the long run.

How long have you been trying to find a reliable mesh nebulizer?

@sueinmn The reality is as they say "You get what you pay for" turns out to be true the majority of times.
However, cost can be a problem often in terms of what we can and cannot afford. But our health should be worth the cost of a good product.
Sue, when a portable nebulizer comes with a clear plastic "mask" how is the mask cleaned, can it be cleaned such as in boiling water?????
Also when you speak of mesh one....in my mind, my perception is "mask". Is that right, "mask."

@blm1007blm1007 I don't know how the masks are cleaned and view 90% of those nebulizers as toys, good only for occasional use. Some mesh nebs do have mouthpiece again cleaning is per manufacturer suggestion.
As for affordability, I know it is fortunate we could afford the $719 price. Over a year later and still working perfectly . We would probably have bought at least 3 cheap ones apiece in the same time. We will not switch out the powerless until they dail, no issues so far.

@sueinmn
I've just joined this group and I'm afraid I missed which nebulizer you're talking about that costs $719. If it can be used on a regular basis and is portable and quiet, I would be willing to pay that much -- although it does seem quite expensive! Thank you for your help.

@cjrice It is called the Pari eFlow Rapid. It requires a prescription, most insurance doesn't cover it, and the best price is at nebology.com
Tip: If not on sale, register, put it in your cart and go away. In a day or 2 you'll get an email offering a discount.

@juliea55 I think he is talking about an all-in-one device. The Pari has a tiny separate compressor attached by a wire. We love ours!
